Love this! My wedding is coming up and I have been collecting green glass bottles at thrift stores and Goodwill for my centerpieces. I love the fact that you spray painted your bottles different colors/shades to add depth and interest! Thanks for posting!!
I am really considering this. I love the way it looks and think with my rustic barn wedding with fall burgundy and blush color palette it would just add an elegance that I’m looking for. Thank you for sharing!
I think it would look fantastic! If you have any questions about anything I'd be happy to help!! I'll be rolling out the rest of the wedding DIYs in the next couple of weeks so stay tuned. I hope you're having tons of fun planning for your wedding! :D
Simply Handmade I’m trying to. I think it would be easier planning a friends wedding then my own sometimes lol. But I can’t wait to see everything come together
seeing everything come together is the best part! Grab support wherever you can. Even a day-of planner would be great to take care of any hiccups if you can get one! It saved me during my wedding!
Love this!!!!!! That would be a cute idea for a baby shower using baby bottles. Or a bridal shower with champagne bottles. And for thanksgiving or Christmas dinner with fall/winter colors!
YES!!! This DIY is SO diverse. Could literally apply it to everything. Love the champagne/bridal shower idea. It already costs a lot to be a part of a wedding. Gotta save that $ when planning for the showers too!
Thank you SO much for this video! I'm making about 50 of these bottles right now for my wedding this summer, and I've come back to this video many many times to reference what I'm doing and what products I should be getting 😂
Thank you!! Yes, definitely! DIYing is easy but having someone set up the day of is a must. Maybe the venue you have would be able to assist. Good luck!!
Thank You so much for this, I started collecting bottles for a womens event I was supposed to have but know they'll be for my wedding. We agreed to a no loan, low expense budget wedding. Much appreciated, new subbie!
YES!!! I'm gonna be completely honest it sucks scraping off all the paper and gunk from the bottles but it saves SO much $$ and looks equally as gorgeous!
I'm doing this for my Wedding hands down! I've already collected about 40/50 bottles. Any tips on how many days in advanced to get the flowers? Thank you so much
I got my flowers about 3 days in advance and they were pretty good. If you're ordering from flower Moxie like I did, they'll let you know when to get them and how to take care of them since you're dealing with florists :)
I believe you should get them a few days before your event in order for them to open up and blossom. If you reach out to Amy from FlowerMoxie (where I got my flowers) she will be the best to guide you since she's an actual florist :). Let her know i sent ya!!
That's awesome!! I found her for my best friend's wedding last year and I had to use her again for this styled shoot. Congrats on the engagement and happy wedding planning!! I know first hand it can be stressful but have as much fun as you can! :D
I just get excited when I see people use fresh flowers. Unfortunately, people always think going fresh is expensive and actually it's not. I do have business licenses, but there's always a DYI section at the floral shop where the average person without a license doesn't have to pay full price for fresh flowers.
I’ve already started collecting bottles to use this idea for my wedding in September 2019! Thank you for the inspiration!
Ahh!!! so glad you got some inspo!
Great idea... Looks beautiful and classy

This looks amazing! Should all of the flowers with the water inside the bottles be arranged the night before the wedding, or when is a good time?
from my experience you can do this two days in advance of the event :)
New subbie here !! Great tips! It looks so beautiful.
So glad to have you!! Thanks so much for the kind words :D
Now my patron bottle will come in handy when im done with it lol....new subbie btw can you do this as an ordinary centerpiece
Shelia35 welcome!! Yes absolutely you can do it as a regular centerpiece. 🤗🤗

My wedding is September 22.2018 when should I buy flowers?
I live in Louisville, ky.
I believe you should get them a few days before your event in order for them to open up and blossom. If you reach out to Amy from FlowerMoxie (where I got my flowers) she will be the best to guide you since she's an actual florist :). Let her know i sent ya!!
Simply Handmade I will certainly do that. Thank you so much for your help. ❤️
of course! So glad I could help you out :D
Gorg! I’m using Flower Moxie for my wedding flowers in May.
Awesome!! If you found flower moxie through me, let Amy know I sent you! ;)
Simply Handmade I have actually been following her for a few years now but it’s awesome to see others using her for florals too.
That's awesome!! I found her for my best friend's wedding last year and I had to use her again for this styled shoot. Congrats on the engagement and happy wedding planning!! I know first hand it can be stressful but have as much fun as you can! :D
Please inform your viewers that roses are supposed to be cut underneath the water. Good job though.
Thanks! I'll be sure to update the description. I'm definitely no florist haha. Thanks for the advice :)

Yes! I totally agree - it's not that expensive. I was one of those who were intimidated by keeping fresh flowers alive but it's surprisingly not hard!
Simply Handmade 😀 Not at all you just have to know which ones to be delicate with.
cool but more of a pinterest thing
I could see that but it really is gorgeous in person. :)
Tasteless...
Thanks for watching, though!
