As for permits, it really depends on the location in Iceland-some areas do require permission, especially popular tourist spots where there’s a higher risk. Ive been there last year. Vestrahorn is the name of that huge mountain. Theres a viking village and a whole boat. How was sleeping in that tent box on top of the car?
