Its awesome to see you experience these moments however there are other aspects and stories pertaining to how the stupa came into existence, I think you will like those stories even more. You should visit Swoyambhu stupa too sometime, it has a more discrete and deep-rooted cultural beliefs and stories.

Swayambhu translates into self born...It is said that when godess manjushree visited kathmandu valley to meet the self born light, the whole valley was one big pond...so she stroke her khadga (sword) in chobhar mountain , the water went out through the gap and the valley came into an existence ...
