Hey google Tommy Wiseau as the Joker audition I'm not joking - he actually does a Great Performance and honestly - hes better than Jared Letto and looks Scarier than Heath Ledger looked - I am not joking I think he should replace Letto
+qhsperson I was referring to the novel and film the Disaster Artist. I do think that the film, the Room, is incredible in its own right. The Room is a cult hit for a reason, but it was able to break into the mainstream after the Disaster Artist was written. Furthermore, the Room was able to take on another life after the Disaster Artist was adapted into a film. What if English was my second language? Don't be so pompous.
Ian Turnbow The film is a "hit" because it is so pompously awful. It's not the first terrible movie to develop a cult following, and the cult springs from the absolute awfulness of the movie, not for any redeeming features. And I asked about whether English was a second language just in case you misunderstood "truly great" as it would be used in, say, the US, not because I thought you might be ignorant otherwise.
They sooooo should have watched this movie while drunk. Would make it 10x better. Fun Fact: The actress playing Lisa was shocked and disgusted how many sex scenes there were in the final cut. She claims there was only supposed to be one, and was promised it would be edited down to just a minute or so.
Hey google Tommy Wiseau as the Joker audition I'm not joking - he actually does a Great Performance and honestly - hes better than Jared Letto and looks Scarier than Heath Ledger looked - I am not joking I think he should replace Letto
This catastrophic film has become something that I genuinely enjoy watching from time to time. Fair play to Tommy for kinda breaking the fourth wall with 'The Disaster Artist'.
The only thing wrong with this video is that you didn't have more groups of Facts contributors watching to cut between. This could have been an amazing longer video with some of the other Facts team's reactions.
The Room movie is so far my favorite. Watching him, I was counting on a production that was not so good and comical, and in fact it was so, the movie made me laugh, but when I reached the end, weeping with laughter turned into a real sense of sadness. Not because the acting was tragic but everything collected in a heap caught my heart at last. If Tommy wanted to do a sad drama, I think he did it, but he did more than that. He combined a sad drama with a hilarious comedy. Amazing production and I love it.
Well said. It ends up being touching, because Tommy really was sincerely pouring his heart out when he made this film. It is his innocence that makes this not just a "bad movie", but a great movie...at the same time.
I'm so thankful I haven't heard of it. Avoided watching this video because I had no idea what it was. Kind of want my 5 min back. At least their commentary was worth it
I mean, a lot of them have been through a lot of ups and downs as far as food tasting goes. I GARUNTEE they would get a huge kick out of watching Andrew Zimmern!
The fire truck is one of the few realistic things about it. Any serious health incident reported using 911 will warrant a response of a fire truck, ambulance, and police.
That's FEMA. They declare a disaster area. The police keep people from returning to their homes. FEMA then goes through all the homes marking the buildings and confiscating all firearms.
Former EMT and 911 dispatcher here - that's not universally true. I've never worked on a service that routinely dispatched fire alongside EMS for pure medical calls. Person trapped calls, yeah. Suicides where someone is still hanging, or dead in a garage full of CO, or some other sketchy situation like that - sure. But if someone's lying bleeding or dead on the ground someplace, I'm not sending a fire squad out to them. EMS and police can handle that.
this is actually a truly inspirational film the person whom made it was inexperienced in everything yet pulled it off and the passion you can tell that went into it is contagious and yes it is funny watching his performance but there is other great talent here it is litterally like that "Poor Old Jack" song from The Nightmare Before Christmas Verse: "But I Never intended all this madness - never and nobody really understood - well how could they? That all I ever wanted, was to bring them something great! Why does nothing ever turn out like it should? WELL - What the Heck! I went and did my Best! And by God I really tasted something Swell! And for a moment - why - I even touched the sky and at least I left some stories they can tell" Tommy Wiseau went in with goal to be in a movie and was told no by everyone and he did it himself despite personal issues and stress - he pulled it off and this is an enjoyable film marked with passion and indeed from other actors - talent this is an inspirational movie - and quite frankly I LOVE IT!
One of my best memories of my late friend Chris is the two of us at his comic book shop closed with a case of beer and two bags of popped corn making him watch this for the first time. Eat right and exercise kids. You only get one heart.
I have literally gotten more enjoyment from repeated viewings of "The Room" than from all the other movies I've seen put together in my life! And that's amazing. Tommy Wiseau is either a genius.....or he's an alien from another dimension who landed here by accident and then got lucky. I'm not sure which. Anyway, "don't worry about it". 😊 "Oh, hi, Irish people!"
Got an essay due tomorrow but immediately stopped what I was doing when I saw this notification!!! Oh my God me and my brother love this film so chuffin much!!! "Life is too short" -"and yet here we are watching this movie"- I'm dying, you guys are the best! This has made my day!
According to a fan novelization I found somewhere online (Don’t remember where), Johnny laughed at Mark’s story because “the thought of the girl getting what she deserved amused him.”
scabbarae The Firefighters are usually at the station in the neighborhood of the call. The Ambulances are busier. They are at the hospital or returning when the next call comes in.
The line in the film that killed me was when he was with his mate (Peter think his name was), we didn't know who he was, first time introduced to the film. Tommy tells his problems, Pete says "I don't know what to say" then Tommy replies "but you're a psychologist". comedy genius
In San Francisco, yet, one of the most expensive cities to live in...LOL $50 on a regular day, $150 close to Valentine's Day, when you're the idiot who 'forgot'.
The flower shop scene made me laugh so hard. So did the scene where the mother reveals that she has breast cancer because it was so unexpected just by the way she said it. I mean, she showed very little emotion.
It's supposed to be a real serious movie about a young man who wants to make it into Hollywood. However, his movie was... bad. However, it is worth seeing only because it's just funny to watch.
julinde "bad". Oh no, no, no, no..... No, no, no. You cannot use that word in a trite fashion here. Getting a spinal tap was less painful that this down escalator trip into perdition's flames. I know because I saw Satan running the other way.
You should have let them have alcohol and see just how drunk they get and if that improves their opinion of the movie. And I love that you've got the Bottle Caps there for them during the movie.
I wish I could watch this for the first time again. My favourite line - "It's confirmed I have cancer" which is never referred to again. WTAF was said many times.
kagurarox tbh I haven't seen it in over 5 years, so apart from 'you're tearing me apart!' I can no longer quote it verbatim. I will go back to PCC for its next showing though, because I clearly need a top up. 😊
My favorite is at the end at the party and he goes "You invited all my friends. Good thinking!" I like to imagine last year she invited a bunch of strangers, and they couln't figure out for a long time why the party was so awkward.
BOTH terrible films. In "Manos", the actor playing Torgo was actually physically crippled by the apparatus they had him wear on his legs---he was supposed to be a satyr, yet that is never apparent in the film. And, he was on acid during most of the filming. He eventually committed suicide. Plan 9, Bela Lugosi dies during filming, and instead of scrapping or re-doing it, they replace him with someone who looks nothing like him, and hence we get the 'cape held in front of the face' vampire move, to 'disguise' the non-Lugosi.
So I've never actually seen this movie, even though I've heard all about it...Dear lord why do people still watch this? lmfao 😂😂😂 I did hear the disaster artist is amazing though. Also i'm ecstatic that besties Bla and Brian were paired up again! 😂
I can’t believe they didn’t show “I did not hit her it’s not truth it’s bullshit I did not hit her I did naaaaaht oh hai mark”
"oh hai mark" XDDD
how's your sex life?
It makes me think they didn't actually see the whole movie. No reaction on the best part?
I can't believe they didn't show reactions to him humping the dress!
I've seen that guy Saying I did not hit her all over UA-cam. I was trying to find the movie. Guy with the black hair would make this movie watchable
Aww, you cut "I did not hit her. It's bullshit " scene.
That was one of the most iconic scene in the movie.
I know right, the editor and this video are just stupid...
They cut the best scene! Maybe it’s copyrighted
... you mean that ONE scene is copyrighted, but the rest of the film isn't? Were you born that dumb or did you have to practice?
Ridwan A "Oh hai Mark"
It was cut because they didn’t have any reaction to it as this is how all Irish people greet each other 😂
WTF THEY MISSED OH HI MARK HOW COULD THEY
For real, so stupid...
hulsey 1974 There are lot of other things too. Like "Anyways, how's your sex life?"😁
And they missed "anyway, how's your sex life?" scene too
Hey google Tommy Wiseau as the Joker audition
I'm not joking - he actually does a Great Performance and honestly - hes better than Jared Letto and looks Scarier than Heath Ledger looked - I am not joking I think he should replace Letto
@@stoneartisen4216 I watched it and no, he isn't better than Jared Leto
The greatest shit movie ever
Clearly you're no fan of B-movies
drakocarrion I do hope that is sarcasm.
Nope. There are much greater shit movies than this.
Zombie Nation springs to mind lol. Gotta love Ulli Lommel
Plan 9 from Outer Space is fantastic.
You cut the most beautiful scene in the history of movies.
"I did not hit her. It's not true. It's bullshit. I did not hit her. I did naaaht"
Oh hi Mark!
"I did not hit her, I did not" lol best movie ever 😂
NAHT*
Where can I watch the movie?
Omg you like the room, awesome lol
Oh Hi Mark
Anyway how is your sex life?
I need her to narrate my sex life
*"GO DOWN ON HER ALREADY FOR FUCK'S SAKE!!!"*
Anyway, how is your sex life?
Project Mayhem at the moment it's non-existent unfortunately;)
Oh, hi mark
Roisin Lee oh hi Denny
Which is said EVERY SINGLE TIME they meet. 😂
I did not hit her i did not
Anyway how is your sex life?
"Go down on her already, for fuck's sake!" XD
I wouldn't want that alien anywhere near my crotch. That's why I'd lend him my bellybutton.
Hey!
The Film that is the very definition of so bad it's good...
yep that's porn for ya
Troll 2 and The Room are the two crown jewels
Yeah. But I bet once you have watched it you recommend it to all your friends. So bad its brilliant
It’s so bad, it’s bad...
Now they need to see The Disaster Artist 😂
I absolutely agree.
The book is quite a bit better than the movie. The film is truly great, but key areas of the book were omitted.
Ian Turnbow The film is truly great? Is English your second language?
+qhsperson

They sooooo should have watched this movie while drunk. Would make it 10x better. Fun Fact: The actress playing Lisa was shocked and disgusted how many sex scenes there were in the final cut. She claims there was only supposed to be one, and was promised it would be edited down to just a minute or so.
Can you really call her an actress though?
+Mycenaea
Well, only in the sense she pretends to be a person named Lisa, and got paid for doing so.
Really? The story I heard was just that she refused to do another sex scene because it was so awkward, so they had to use the same scene twice.
The first actress who was cast as Lisa apparently quit because of the long, awkward sex scenes.
I think he created the movie just so him and his best friend Mark could get some puss, or at least appear to get a delicious pink taco.
You’re tearing me apart, Sean!
lol
I get it. You replaced Lisa with a different name.
what did I do?

JK's Game Shelf they should have done a whole Mystery Science Theater 3000 thing a played the entire movie with commentary
They had to use the ones who didn’t know bout it
I would absolutely watch the whole thing if they just cut between like 8-10 contributors! lol
cheep cheep cheep!
Where's The "Oh Hi Mark" Scene?
And what about the 'by the way, how is your sex life?' part?
thumb down
They were too chicken to give their final thoughts! Cheep Cheep Cheep Cheep Cheep Cheep!
When Dermot says that life is too short to watch something like The Room, and you've seen The Room a dozen times... :(

Dammit. Are we pathetic? 😂

Best. Response. Ever.
I try to watch it every Friday. There's multiple layers of pure gold in the movie, and I'm determined to find them all!
One of 'em found out about it; beat it up so bad it ended up in a hospital on Guerro Street.

And that is somehow unfortunate?
I'm shocked you have... it's an indie porno...no one has seen it!

The fire truck is one of the few realistic things about it. Any serious health incident reported using 911 will warrant a response of a fire truck, ambulance, and police.
I heard that 911 was hoax created by the shadow government to take people's guns away. Is that not right?
That's FEMA. They declare a disaster area. The police keep people from returning to their homes. FEMA then goes through all the homes marking the buildings and confiscating all firearms.

Hi Dermot! I was the cashier who served you at Centra on Sunday!
Needless to say, you didn’t say “Hi Doggie!”
A GriffinTV
Hi, Doggie! ✌🏼😉
Of all the videos to NOT be drinking during, you choose this one.
Oh! Hi Dermot!
I'd only heard the rumors of the exquisite, precise yet beautiful acting in The Room but... turns out they were greatly understated.
"Tommy Wisseau your acting has made me want to quit acting."
The entire film is like the beginning of a porn video.
I wouldn’t know ! 🤥
Ya
Can't wait for the disaster artist 🙌
Roisin Lee I was thinking the exact same thing
Roisin Lee go see it! I saw it two weeks ago. It been out
hjames78 oh I know 😉 I was just excited to see it 👍 what did you think?
You're tearing me apart Lisa!
That whole thing looks like a bad lip reading
Poppy Finn Rumor has it Tommy Wisau had to dub himself in about half the scenes because his lines were so unintelligible
This movies looks like a bad lip reading
That's because everything is dubbed... by the same actors who play in the movie... don't ask why.
You take that back! BLR has far better voice acting than _The Room._
Thank you for adding the list of contributors.
"This guy must be Irish became he does not understand OVERT flirting!"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I saw me some nudity...
There's a book about it? THERE'S AN EFFING BOOK ABOUT IT?! Perhaps this is secretly the best movie ever made but we all call it bad.
And of those books is actually adapted into an Oscar contender movie! Seriously!
Look up Disaster Artist...
He’s crannnnkie today.”
I laughed from just seeing the thumbnail 😂😂
You cut out “anyway how’s your sed life?”
Omg how could you 😂
Thank you for their names again. This was fun! I kinda want to know what happens next.
You missed "I did not hit her" and the "I don't care anymore" promotion scene, very underrated chapters, with important plot points 😂
According to a fan novelization I found somewhere online (Don’t remember where), Johnny laughed at Mark’s story because “the thought of the girl getting what she deserved amused him.”
Good Heavens. That is some real bad acting. Torture to watch that, but everyone's comments made it bearable .
Cathy get some friends get some beers and it’s academy award worthy
It's fucking hilarious mate, watch it.
I requested this!!!! Thank u!!!!
Judging from all the other videos from this channel I'm seeing on the sidebar now I think this channel might be the new Fine Bros.
Like a bucket challenge, they should nominate 3 other Facts members to watch it.
Jack Jones
You, sir, are a genius. A damn genius.
Its a fucking awful movie!! Awful... Awful.. But.. James Franco made it amazing!! Your tearing me appppppart Lisa!
Well, Tommy did manage to make something fascinatingly awful, so I guess that's an achievement.
Re: fire engines - because fire engines respond to pretty much every 911 call in America, and they're usually the first to show up for some reason.
scabbarae The Firefighters are usually at the station in the neighborhood of the call. The Ambulances are busier. They are at the hospital or returning when the next call comes in.
If only they knew about the horror stories that went behind the scenes.
I am fed up with this werl!
If you enjoyed this, then you'll love the Rifftrax version.
ComethTheReaper
WHERE???
The line in the film that killed me was when he was with his mate (Peter think his name was), we didn't know who he was, first time introduced to the film. Tommy tells his problems, Pete says "I don't know what to say" then Tommy replies "but you're a psychologist". comedy genius
$18 bucks for roses? I call bullshit
In San Francisco, yet, one of the most expensive cities to live in...LOL $50 on a regular day, $150 close to Valentine's Day, when you're the idiot who 'forgot'.
He gets a big discount because he's her favorite customer.
It was 2004 or something
Yeah $18 would be a steal on Valentines or Sweetest days.
Irish people watch Twin Peaks (Original Series, FWWM, Missing Pieces, Season 3)
Oh Hai Doggy!
You’re my favorite customer. (Said with a totally flat affect).
The flower shop scene made me laugh so hard. So did the scene where the mother reveals that she has breast cancer because it was so unexpected just by the way she said it. I mean, she showed very little emotion.
Brilliant. Would be the tits to see a longer cut and/or additional pieces on this film with other contributors.
You're tearing me apart!!!
Wait, wait! Did you all not notice that they use the same sex scene twice? That's one of the funniest parts!!
"Hi Doggy!!"
"You're my favorite customer"
"Denny's definitely killing the neighborhood pets." Lol!!
Oh to be young and able to see the Room the first time again.
I had to pause video couple of time to laugh hysterically at your reactions! !!
I would watch a full director's cut with this commentary. It's perfect.
Why did they cut the "I did not hit her" part in the roof? That was pure gold.
We need a longer version and a full version of this
"Hopefully, I'll be able to hear some of it"--Yeah, we feel your pain.
His laugh never gets old 😂
I've never heard of this…why does this exist? 😂
RebeccaBeckery hahaha ditto! Like I don’t get it, is this supposed to be like a b movie porno? Lmao I don’t get it
Because it's amazing.
It's supposed to be a real serious movie about a young man who wants to make it into Hollywood. However, his movie was... bad. However, it is worth seeing only because it's just funny to watch.
Look online for the Fresh Air interview with Terri Gross and James Franco.
julinde "bad". Oh no, no, no, no..... No, no, no. You cannot use that word in a trite fashion here. Getting a spinal tap was less painful that this down escalator trip into perdition's flames. I know because I saw Satan running the other way.

“Why is there a fire engine? What happened!?” 😂😂😂
Well good choice of contributors. Dermot, Blaithin and the Dan Bell doppleganger.
I saw this and the Disaster Artist for the first time this week. The latter is a damn treat!
It’s even funnier when you realise how old Denny was at
The time of shooting
"I'm a big fan of Brie Larson."
Especially when she played the sexy Envy Adams in "Scott Pilgrim Vs The World".
Bláithín is sooooo pretty man. Damn. Love that laugh of hers.
Tommy that chicken line was so good, let's use it again!!!
This was an enjoyable watch, btw I got the tests back and I have severe lung cancer. But anyways, I enjoyed the video.
*Tommy Wiseau breathes*
ppl in this reaction video : LOLMFG THIS IS SOOOO BAD LOLOLOL
I wish I could watch this for the first time again.
My favourite line - "It's confirmed I have cancer" which is never referred to again. WTAF was said many times.
It's actually "I definitely have breast cancer."

This a million percent.
I thought that was Manos: Hands of Fate?
BOTH terrible films. In "Manos", the actor playing Torgo was actually physically crippled by the apparatus they had him wear on his legs---he was supposed to be a satyr, yet that is never apparent in the film. And, he was on acid during most of the filming. He eventually committed suicide.

Another contender would be Incubus, which has William Shatner speaking Esperanto throughout.
You cut out the reactions to the "It's not ture, it's bullshit, I did not hit her! I did noooot! Oh, hi Mark!"? You're tearing me apart Facts.!
Irish people watch “Birdemic”.
A _technical_ manual? It's a _good_ sign when a movie draws its material from a _book,_ but when it draws its material from a _technical manual..._
"Why doesn't sje just answer the question!!??" I died!
I've always hated 'bad' movies like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes etc. so I refuse to see the room.
Have you tried, "Eraserhead"? I'd suggest a side of LSD for that one.
"I got the results of the test back. I definitely have breast cancer."
My favorite line in the whole damn movie.
So I've never actually seen this movie, even though I've heard all about it...Dear lord why do people still watch this? lmfao 😂😂😂 I did hear the disaster artist is amazing though.
Also i'm ecstatic that besties Bla and Brian were paired up again! 😂
Oh, Hai Nadia!
It's one of those movies you just have to see at least once in your life.
You’re tearing me apart, Nadia!
What a story Nadia!
