I remember in bf5 I specifically would look for people who did this, just go assault and blow tanks up until someone leaves and you won the lottery, most of the time it didn't work but it was still fun, I remember I went so long with a tank once I forgot what team I was on.
Lol, in bf4 and 3 I would specifically target the enemies who stole our vehicles while using the jets ground to air camera. There's always new players who don't know to go down with your vehicle. I would also always target c4 suicide bombers, snipers nest, etc. I just liked ruining the fun for others.
I remember one time someone abandoned a tank destroyer or something in BF1, and Noone was getting on the tank it was even in the middle of a battle in or near the capture point in the train station, so I decided to steal it and join the fire line of tanks my team set up.
The best tank load-out in Battlefield 2042 is the one you steal from the enemy team.
U should shout "steeeal" as u rush to capture.
Anyways, I stole tanks in Co op bc I didn't know how to air drop vehicles at 1st

love how as long as the vehicle is in play, that player that bailed it, CANT spawn it again.
Played BFV one time as the US. I got in a Sherman right as the round started with a random. We encountered a Tiger and shot it and the driver bailed. We immediately bailed our tank, a US soldier took our abandoned Sherman and me and the random took the Tiger, killing everyone on the field for the entirety of the game, while the Germans had one less tank for the rest of the match
I found a jet on golmud like this pilot gave it up and we had two attack jets and one stealth the rest of the game
In BFV I have taken a Sherman and Sturmtiger from the opposing team on more than one occasion.😅
This is why I scuttle if I can. I may not go down with the ship, but you aren't getting it!

that's 1 more tank for your team, and one less for the enemy, and a net total of 2 tank advantage for your guys.
ALso jacked some tanks as they're getting dropped in, wingsuit is perfect for this. Much rarer but twice as awesome.
You know you gotta go down with a vehicle when BFFs made an animation of this exact scenario.

I remember a couple months ago I was playing a match of battlefield five and someone on the enemy team abandoned their Strumtiger so someone on my team took it was quite a fun round
Even if its only a minute, its a stolen vehicle denied to the enemy team for a minute. My favorite time with this was finding a landed enemy attack jet in BF4. Apparently the pilot bailed to save his KDR, the plane did its weird BF4 air physics and somehow landed safely and I was able to take it off. I wasn't able to get many good attack runs in, but kept it for the rest of the round, completely denying its use to the enemy team for the remainder. Always told teammates- you die with your vehicle, never leave it.
Yup. Never ceases to amaze me when it’s done in a Battlefield game, only to see someone complain about why someone goes on a streak in a stolen vehicle.
If you’re going to abandon a vehicle, get out of line of sight and booby trap with High-explosives…

Literally so many people just bail out and give the enemy side the tank it’s literally the most frustrating thing when the enemy side has 3 tanks and you have 1

That's the most aonnying kind of player like the space could of been for a helpful jet or a useful chopper but no someone that just need to get somewhere quick
if you die in a vehicle or abadon it withen first 2 minutes you should be banned rest of the game getting in one cause its retarded and takes it of the team
I call this tactic "Being a Pirate" my favorite is when i start dismantling the tank and they get out, to which i immediately get in and run them over.
You know its a good game when on Breakthrough, the attacking team's Condor or Hind is just drifting to the ground. Just gotta hope that it lands safely and next thing you know, the attacking team's efforts grind to a halt because one guy robbed them of their most vital asset, aerial superiority. Its especially a good game when you as an engineer start welding the enemy vehicle, they bail. you jump in and either blast them into next week or turn them into a pancake.
I’m playing 2042 right as you’re uploading this video. Good timing! Loving this game so far. All the bugs aside, I am super glad to have proper AI support in a battlefield game since, well, forever. Really looking forward to what they will do with Portal.
Also, fun fact (or at least observation): On the M1A5 if you look at the turret closely you can see the physical outline of the Abrams’ original turret, and where the addon armor starts.
Edit: Just had a really cinematic moment with an LATV4 jumping out of the treeline on Manifest. Good stuff.
It feels nice to be able to host attachments from killing bots in bot lobbies instead of actual players
happened in bf5 saw a half submerged tank switched to engineer got in it and now i had a japanese artillery tank which helped with making a push in the jungle with just rocket spam thanks for the tank
There are two situations where I do make exceptions to the rule. The first is when I'm stuck, there aren't nearby enemies (or allies usually), and I can safely destroy the vehicle so it'll respawn for the team. I tend to favor classes that can take down a vehicle. The second is when I have a very good chance of killing my attacker by destroying the vehicle. I've lured more than one foe into what they thought was a free tank, only to be instantly C4d.
I'm still enjoying the last bit out of Battlefield 5. I'll see you guys in 6 months time, when the my lobbies are completely dead.

I can confirm this title the other day I got out of my tank to repair it and it got stolen while I was repairing it

This is another reason to not trust blueberries with vehicles. Because they would rather abandon the vehicle instead of die and have their killstreak cut short. If you’re going to get into a tank or other armed vehicle, you die with it to ensure it does not fall into enemy hands!

Literally BF 4,1, and 5 everytime you rush a tank, six times out of ten dudes are jumping out of tanks.
Some things ive learned from using a tank is that smoke helps u hide from rockets targeting you

If I'm in a tank battle and the other guy bails I'll secure his tank take it and destroy mine so they don't get that tank back

I have a quick question that hopefully someone would be willing to answer: Do the loadouts for seats work like in bf4? As in the gunner uses his own config of the vehicle, and not that of the driver.

Yeah somehow someone got our condor on Hourglass and it just changed the whole balance of the map. We were slaughtered. Still trying to figure out how they did it.
I always love to steal enemy vehicles because they can't get their vehicle back without destroying it first

ive stolen a tank before and killed the person driving it since i was behind him and he didnt know and he tried repairing it so i jumped right in and ran him over and continued to kill his teammates in front lol

I'm totally for going down with your ship but this was a terrible example. It started nearly even when you got it but when you lost it the ticket count was at negative 400.
I call the M5C Bolte the Not-a-transport. Like seriously, why is that thing in the transport slot when it's clearly a tank, with the opposite being true of the MAV.
Bolte is fun tho. I love it so much I’m trying to get the tier 1 badge before it gets nerfed to sht

Hey, ik it's been YEARS but that just it your castle mod has been in Alpha for years now and it's really unfair of you as I'm on xbox and there 0 nav mesh, please fix it, I really need to set up my castle with navmesh and this ruin it, please just take a few hours out of your week to fix it, I'm even willing to pay if that's what it take, cone on man

The tanks still dont work well at ps5 version so many times i have hit strait on and nothing hapens. :P. Looks like pc are the way to go right now.
Everybody else makes 2042 look trash! You actually make it look interesting and fun, I guess it’s all perspective but if the games not really that bad then why are all the content creators painting it that way
