Dude, the way musicians take apart a whole melody into pieces and then figure out how to put them together to make the song whole - I have no idea how to recreate that magic. What a time to be alive.
55 years old, now...first time I hited 200 km/h with my car, this was playing loud...I got lucky that night and... everytime I ear this, tears come....thank you...
this song...it just brings back childhood memories...how I listened to this single up and down on my portable CD player...I think it's still one of the best pieces of music of the 90s RIP Robert Miles !!
I’ve written albums in GarageBand for Mac. I’ve written tutorials on the Mac and iPhone/iPad versions. But the thought of doing live performances like this with no edits gives me the heebie-jeebies. Kudos, as ever, for your great mix of understanding of this great piece of software, live performance skill, and interesting cover arrangements.
This blows me away how exact you can make this sound compared to the original. All from a phone too!!! If you had told someone in the 70's you'd do this on a phone in the future they'd think you were crazy.
I was in the 70s, as a Tomorrows World fan,I was already dreaming of the day it would happen. And when i saw Star wars on opening week, I'd started counting the days 😂
Omg. More dance classics like this! This is an effin masterpiece mate! Just reproduced it myself following your video and I’m loving it. Struggled a bit with the guitar section and maybe slipped a note or two in the bridge, but it was close enough.
It kinda makes you wonder what Robert Miles thought process while creating this song almost 30 years ago was, while using the equipment that was available at the time.
The guy re-creating this sound on such a small device is brilliant, so so clever... and the tune is amazing I used it in 1999 for my show... It is a never ending piece by a clever composer..sadly missed. This tune goes on for eternity... brilliant in every way......!!
Just shows how much goes into making a song. Amazing how you did it all on your iPhone. A lot of patience needed but really interesting to see the song evolve piece by piece up to the finished track. Thanks for sharing.
It's just the first part of the music, but it's incredible anyway, amazing how similar it becomes to the original one! The technology sometimes makes miracles!
Of all the UA-cam videos I have watched in my life, this is one of my top favorites!! I absolutely love it!! And the timing is perfect, I am studying Garageband for use in the near future. Thank you so much and Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪 !!!
is very easy guys spend sometime everyday and you can play as well as him . thanks for sharing i been using garageband for 2 yrs now i can play all the song i want now.
this is absolutely incredible.. well done.. veeeeery well done... i never thought it would be possible to do that on an iphone.. Thank you very much for sharing that with us.. greetings from Switzerland..
This is mind-blowing! It's a shame that algorithm has massacred your channel. 66K views for this masterpiece is ridiculous... perhaps if you could make this on the Pixel phone, but we know you can't!
Request / suggestion: Titans by Vangelis (from the Alexander OST) I’ve tried it but A) I don’t know how to use Garageband half as well as this and B) my ear can’t pick up all the subtle stuff that add depth to the sound (beyond the main brass melody) Anyway, exceptional demonstrations of just how versatile GB is. Keep it up!
Here to remind everyone that GarageBand made these songs: 1) Rihanna - “Umbrella” 2) Wavves - “Wavves” and “Wavvves” 3) Justice - “Cross” 4) T-Pain - “Rappa Ternt Sanga” 5) Nine Inch Nails - “The Hand That Feeds” 6) Radiohead - “In Rainbows” 7) George Pringle - “Salon des Refusés” 8) Steve Lacy - (Kendrick Lamar’s) “Damn” and “Ego Death” ♥
RIP Robert Miles.. This song never gets old..
I suggest you to read about the reason this song was created
do you now ? Because we are so stupid?? It's common knowledge he wrote it to save ravers lives thanks very much for presuming shit
R.I.P Robert miles 😞❤️
Ikk this is one of my faves
yeah indeed, motherfucking cancer took another great one from the earth.
Ik I hate our life
i cry when heard about his death(
oh god, and I did not know that one of my favorite interpreters had left us, what a great pity, that you rest in peace idol.

Absolutely !

This is crazy. Amazing! Imagine if Mozart were alive today and had access to this kind of stuff.
Scrolling Instagram all day lying on the couch.

Goosebumps and beautiful Memories 1999 when i first discovered the masterpiece. My Happy place. Thank for the effort.

I would imagine I would have to roll the dial to make a song, a touchscreen would not even come to my mind.

It’s insane how close to perfection this sounds, and I mean how faithful to the original piece this sounds.
Request for Bronski Beat’s Smalltown boy!!
You need to do tutorial series my dude, youre the only guy who can use garage band on iphone properly lol
I kinda can
Stop praising him like a god, he just knows how to play music on time + garageband edit mode makes everyone good

This is so skillful. Beyond skillful. I have never felt anyone as deserving as you for having ads on this video.
Definitely one of your best perfomances!
Imagine that now someone is calling, when you are conducting a concert on your phone
The best sound of 90's
