It’s confirmed in a tumblr post that his names David lol and it says in the fourth entry so it probably happened in between the first and second entry

I've got ideas for a part 4 and 5, but I ran into difficulties getting to it so I had to shelve it. I 100% plan to come back to this story to continue it, just focusing other stories in the meantime!

honestly my HC listener was turned into a vampire to be saved, the vampire who turned them made them promise to never hurt a human. Basically like Nezuko(idk if thats spelled correctly but if she was a vampire and her brother turned her?
I will continue to watch this whole video over and over again. He's my favorite kind of vampire hunter! I desperately want to write some sort of a story based on this I think.

Sorry if this is odd or not wanted, this is the first video I’ve seen on your channel and I absolutely love this trope! You’re one of the only VA’s Ive seen do this well in my opinion! I don’t know if you were thinking about- or already had plans to do- a sequel on this series, but I’d love to see it! I also had a couple ideas for how it could go, and just wanted to write it down, even if it’s unneeded or if it just serves as something for others to read! 😅
-about a month goes by after they finished (re)unaliving the feral vampire without any contact between the two. However, the hunter couldn’t stop thinking about why the listener didn’t ever kill anyone. Eventually it bothers him enough to track them down again.
He approaches them while they are in town at night, taking a midnight stroll or something.
(Obviously listeners responses wouldn’t be in the audio, but I just put my own interpretation of them into it so the plot would flow better?)
Hunter: “Hey Bat. Long time no see”
Listener: “Well if it isn’t the pretty little hunter. As I live and breathe” *sarcastically of course* “What brings you around? Haven’t seen you in a bit. You miss me that much?”
Hunter: *mocking* “Haha yes yes ‘as I live and breathe’ very funny-. Not quite. I know we’d agreed to go on our separate ways, but you could say my morbid curiosity got the better of me.”
*he guides them to a private area so they can talk*
Hunter: “I want to know why you never killed anyone. I mean, what stopped you? It’s been bugging me nonstop this whole time. I’ve never met another vampire who had the strength to stay passive- or even cared to try for that matter.”
*listener smirking*
Listener: “Have you ever heard talk of a cure for vampirism?”
*shocked and confused laugh from hunter*
Hunter: “No I can’t say I’ve heard of a cure… have you?” *still chuckling*
L: “Yea. I have actually. Just rumors, but I’ve heard there’s a way to regain your humanity if you stay ‘clean’. Once you kill, it cant be reversed. Call it wishful thinking, or whatever you want, but thats why I don’t kill.”
*long pause*
H: “Damnit. I was hoping you’d say something simple. Something as predictable as ‘you just don’t like killing’, and I could move on with my life.“ *long pause after large exhale*
H: “Well…Have you gotten anything more in depth on it other than just talk of the cures possible existence?”
L: “Well, obviously I don’t like the thought of killing either. But that’s not exactly the biggest factor to be honest. and I have heard more talk over the years, yes. But not enough to be certain of its credibility yet.”
H: “Well. If it’s proof and information you need- I have a proposition for you then, bat.”
L: *smirking* “oh..? And what’s that, hunter?”
H: “Help me find the cure. If we can find it then I can wipe the earth of this disease and you can get your humanity back, as you desire. It’s a Win Win. I’d argue that’s better than just picking your kind off one by one.”
L: “Hmmm… a tempting offer. But to get the information I need we will have to do lots of traveling.. and talking to dangerous people.. creatures.. are you up for that? How will I survive without being near my little donor friends? And what exactly makes you a necessity to my little… adventure?”
H: “If we have to do lots of traveling and talking to dangerous people and…’creatures’ as you say, then -since you won’t be able to stay near your … donors.. friends.. whatever you call them…- *sigh* you can just use me to keep you satiated. BUT you have to promise to keep me from being killed, because I believe I may have information of my own that could help you on this journey. Things such as legends and journal entries from hunters over the decades I had previously thought were nothing but myths. But you’ll need to keep me alive to obtain the knowledge I have. Deal?”
*listener agrees*
H: “Good. Meet me at my place tonight. Well go over everything more in detail. We could possibly even leave as soon as tomorrow”
~end of that episode, I can think up more storyline and plot/dialogue for the talk they have that night if anybody wants!🙃~
This is another brain dump I had thought about for this series as well:
-about halfway through the journey, there would obviously be more episodes in between this point and the last but I haven’t thought about that much yet-
Setting the scene: something had happened during the “interrogation” of a certain high profile vampire where the hunter was injured and already lost blood, but is still otherwise fine. This was the night listener was supposed to feed. It’s been over 4 weeks since they’ve feed because the last journey became so hectic they hadn’t had time. Now listener is injured, (from fighting off and slaying the one who attacked the hunter) and starving. They don’t trust themselves to feed on anyone because they are so hungry and don’t want to risk harming a stranger, let alone the hunter*
*they both sit in silence for a few minutes after arriving at a local motel where there is also conveniently only one bed because it was the only room left*
*hunter breaks the silence*
H: “sorry about the one bed motel room. It’s the only one I could get on such late notice”
*no response*
H: “thank you for saving my arse back there by the way”
*still no response*
H:*sigh* “You need to eat.”
*he’s met with silence again as listener **-with very obvious bags under their eyes and a slump to their gate-** ignores him and searches the bathroom for things to clean off and gathers a fresh set of clothes*
H: “Stop ignoring me. Come on. You need to eat. I can tell you’re avoiding this conversation.”
L: “I’m not feeding on you. You’re hurt. You’ve already lost blood”
H: “I don’t care if I’m hurt. You’re starving. I don’t know how long you can go without eating but you look terrible. I’ll be fine. Just -“
*listener interrupts and firmly states they refuse to*
*hunter stands up and throws hands in the air, exasperated*
H: “Stop being so stubborn! You say you’re worried about hurting me, but you’ve refused to feed on others, so I’m your only option! I told you I’m fine! Plus, if you die, then I’ll be even more vulnerable anyway, as much as I hate to admit it. I don’t care if you don’t trust yourself, I trust you! Besides, you usually have such a confident attitude, what’s really stopping you!? ”
*listener yells*
L: “Look, I don’t want you to keep seeing me as some sort of parasite! I’m more than that! I WANT to be more than that! And I couldn’t live with myself if I hurt you- or worse. So no. I’ll be FINE”
*Each of them are on their feet now, getting in each others faces as they argue*
H: “What do you mean you don’t want me to only see you as some sort of parasite? I don’t! Is that really what you think I view you as?”
L: “Well yeah! What else would I be to you? I’m certainly not a human!”
*hunter is shocked and quiets, feeling guilty. His words come out hesitant and soft*
H: “Well no… you’re not a human.. but..-“
L: “Then enlighten me! What am I to you? Huh?”
*long pause as they both stare into each others eyes, listeners eyes clearly burdened with stress, self hatred and frustration, and hunters with sympathy and contemplation*
*he suddenly reaches behind their neck to grab them and pull them in for a kiss*
*they break apart and theres a small pause before the hunter speaks again*
“You’re.. my… partner in crime? My friend? Look- I don’t know exactly how I feel. But what I do know for sure is that I don’t want you to be hurt. So please… drink… for me? And before you say anything about me losing too much blood, we both know that I know how to stop you if it gets too far. We’re supposed to trust each other. Remember?”
*listener hesitantly agrees but still doesn’t move for his neck*
“Thank you… Here. Let me hold your hand. I’ll ground you. Ok? I believe in you, Bat.”
