We unfortunately had peter Cox at our property earlier this year. They surveyors and technicians are working under Rentokil doing a lot of social housing contracts. They haven't got a clue what they are doing.

We always pronounce Aspergillus ‘as-per-jill-is’. I guess there’s no proper pronunciation. Another point, how did that guy know the black mould was Aspergillus? There are many other types of black mould. Just one more point about benzalkonium. It’s a great antimycotic agent but the solution does crystallise on evaporation.
Hi Tim, it’s a solution with around 2% Benzalkonium in and iv never seen it crystallise probably because of the amount. The guy just guessed, we are always told to refer to the mould as black mould or mould in reports due to the amount of different types and the fact we are not experts in the types of which there are thousands.
We had terrible mould on an outside and did just this and 1 year later, we haven’t experienced any mould and the wall feels warmer. ( we have mo heating in this room!)

You recommend using a fungicidal wash that contains benzalkonium (not bleach or sodium chloride). Which product(s) would you recommend, please?
