A Day in Pilanesberg National Park

Pilanesberg is a small but productive Big 5 national park about three hours' drive from Johannesburg in South Africa. With proper planning, you could land at OR Tambo International Airport and enjoy sundowners under the vast expanse of the Milky Way. Because it is malaria-free and borders the famous Sun City resort, it is very popular with multigenerational families. For a more exclusive experience, some guests opt for Black Rhino Game Reserve, a private concession in the park that is closed to outside visitors and self-drivers.
