3:27 Game viewing description starts: 4:45: #1 First suggestion: BergenDals' camp gate opens an hour before Malelane gate in morning and its best to sue this time to cross over S110 towards east, take left on H3 and reach S118 - BEST ROAD For Leopards. 5:45 #2: James water hole where S118 cross S114 is also great for waiting One should do a few hundred meteres northwards on S114 before contunieng on S119. One can come back to waterhole when it gets hot in the day. 7:00 #3: S 114 if u further pursue north is also good to reach Menayati bush camp/river where u can see wild dogs 7:45: Continue north on S2xxx and then reach H3 tar road on north.. come south towards camp and there is a great picnic site in between. ALTERATE PLAN S110 - Machulo loop.
Can't get enough of this special camp. A Kruger trip isn't the same without a visit to Berg-en-Dal!! The game viewing is unbelievable!! A good place to see the big 5 as well. 😊🙏 Going to Berg-en-Dal in June as well as Crocodile Bridge!!!
A very comprehensive video! We also love to stay over at Berg-en-Dal! I must agree with everything you've had to say! On the Mlambane Loop, we have regularly seen the resident lion pride, leopards, wild dogs, black & white rhino, buffalo, elephant and plenty of antelope. The Matjulu loop is equally rewarding!
Great video Villiers! We love Berg-en-Dal and make sure to spend our first night or two there every trip. You nailed all the things we love about the camp and surrounding area….top notch! The only thing you missed that makes Berg-en-Dal so very special for us is that it’s the check-in camp for the Wolhuter Wilderness Trail. I’d love to see you do a series on Kruger’s exceptional Wilderness Trails which are just superb and Wohuter is our favorite of them all 😀😀. Great review, looking forward to seeing more 👍
So enjoyed all that about the Kruger Park and seeing all the wildlife. Looking forward to seeing more on the Kruger Park. Thank you for that. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Ah, thanks Thandi. I would LOVE to visit and film them all, but it's easier said than done. Not only would that take a LOT of time, but I would have to convince them all to host me, which is not as easy as you may think... I do, however, hope to visit at least a few in 2022!
What spectacular viewing love the video thankyou so much. Have never been to kruger all our game safaris have been up in east Africa will def have to remedy that after seeing this.
Great advice, Villiers... I've stayed at BnD a few times, but I've seldom been along those gravel roads you've suggested, concentrating rather on the tar roads. Next time, I'm following your suggestions! And I agree, it's probably the best camp in the park.
Hello Filias.we maybe.chaging our hotel from Protea Kruger gate,to Pestana Kruger lodge.Would our game drives still be very productive, entering via the Malelane gate Am on leopard and lion hunt!! Loved the.video re Berg-en-dal👏👏👏
Hi there...looking at a 2 night stay in mid May 2023. What will your recommendation be traveling from Pretoria (Mooikloof)? We are looking at Berg en Dal or Lower Sabie. Any other suggestions? Love your video clips. keep them coming.
Johan, take the N4 straight to Malelane via Nelspruit. Personally, I’d stay in Berg-en-Dal over Lower Sabie and I’d try to do so for longer than 2 nights 😏
Hello! I plan to visit Kruger Park with group of friends in late February for 3 days (26th - 28th) and I'm wondering which camp will be the best for us. We would like to see as many animals as possible and at the same time avoid the most crowded camps. Do you think that Berg-en-Dal Camp will be good for us?
Ek sal wat wil gee om die Wildtuin te besoek was laas dáár in die 70 Ek hoor die kampe het baie verander Geniet jul vakansies ek sal maar na die video kyk
Mark, I appreciate your concern - I really do. The fact of the matter is that poachers already know where to find the rhinos in Kruger, but foreign visitors with a life-long dream of seeing rhinos, don't. I think it's only fair to help them realise their dream by visiting the right camps. With this in mind, I personally believe that the key is just not to share realtime sightings video social media.

Ah, thanks Thandi. I would LOVE to visit and film them all, but it's easier said than done. Not only would that take a LOT of time, but I would have to convince them all to host me, which is not as easy as you may think... I do, however, hope to visit at least a few in 2022!
Berg & Dal is My Most Favourite Place. I agree wholeheartedly with the Caravaning.... It's BLISS.......
What spectacular viewing love the video thankyou so much. Have never been to kruger all our game safaris have been up in east Africa will def have to remedy that after seeing this.
Thanks TJ!
Thanks for sharing - it's a camp that has delivered some good sightings on the surrounding roads for me in recent years.

You give the advice to arrive between 08h00 and 09h00 to get a good spot when camping. But is check in not only from 14h00?
Hi, Do you know if the James Pan has water right know? The river is very dry right now.
I don’t, unfortunately

Great Video. We Are going to Krüger in 5 Weeks. Which Camps would you recommend for 2 Nights?
Weidi 15, it depends on what animals you would like to see most?
@@TheSafariExpert Big 5, like everybody 😅
Berg-en-Dal for sure best place to see the big 5!!
Fabulous.
Thanks Derek!
Can this only be used for stay over visitors or the pool etc open to all?
Bilal, the pool is for stay-over guests only.
Excellent info but the SPELLING - bergendale RACE camp???
Was that in the captions, Beryl???
thanks
We went on the game drive while. The guide was terrible and we saw nothing. Luckily we had already had great experiences at other lodges.
I went to Berg-en-dal for a week and a half and i never saw lion or leopard
@@steelshot7151, wow, that’s bad luck 🙈

Marie, ek hoop jy kry kans om terug te gaan - dis wonderlik daar!
Congratulations on the video. But please reconsider showing Rhinos in your videos, you just make it easier for poachers to know where they are.
