1st - hair is supposed to be wet before applying
2nd - I've tried acv and water, I didn't see much of a difference between the two. So try using only water in your mask instead.
3rd - MUCH easier to apply if you just used your hands
4th - you should've removed your earrings... not supposed to be in contact with metals
5th - add castor, coconut, jojoba, argan or olive oil to add moisture as well
GIVE IT ANOTHER TRY, ITS A REALLY GOOD MASK!

acv is actually better, especially if you have scalp psoriasis or dandruff. It can balance the scalp's ph and it can help with any bacteria on the scalp.

  • @simplyrickeeta
    @simplyrickeeta 4 роки тому +198

Oh Lord. First, people please stop saying this is only for curly hair because that is NOT accurate. Ok, mist your hair just a bit before applying the mask using your fingers. Once it is rinsed off you want to follow up with your shampoo AND ALWAYS use conditioner and leave-in conditioner. The mask will detox your hair and leave it looking healthier BUT the hair still needs to go through certain steps to reach the proper ph that will close the cuticles again. That final process of closing the cuticles is where you feel the difference. No matter what you're doing to your hair always follow the steps and condition.

It’s a fact this mask does not work well on straight hair . Things that work on textured hair ie curls , coils ,waves ,kinks will not work on straight hair . And things that work better for straight hair will not do well for textured hair . Different hair types have different needs so STOP 🛑

I hate regular shampoos and conditioners (even the natural silicone free, sulphate free ones) specifically because they make my hair so silky and soft and I can ‘run my fingers through it’ which means the hair is so silky and soft and becomes fine and looks thin and flat and stuck to the head and then we have to use multiple additional products to get volume and then we have to clarify to get rid of all these products. We are so brainwashed about having to have our hair ‘silky smooth’.

Because of the acidity of the apple cider vinegar you’re supposed to use water to dilute it, like 1/4 acv and 3/4 water because after several uses it can change the pH of your hair and skin resulting in damage overtime

I hope your hair is ok!! Im so leery of beauty tips that i see online now, after I seen people raving about baking soda & ACV rinses. The ACV rinse fried and damaged my hair--but at first it was amazing and shiny and soft, after the second time using the rinse, it started to become tangled&dry, it became a ratnest, which had never happened before.
After further research, i came across other youtube videos & blogs, where people who had gone "no 'poo" used baking soda & ACV, their hair was damaged akin to what happens when people try to bleach their hair at home and damage it irreversibly--so damaged that their hair refuses to even dry! It wasnt only one person. I only ever did a very diluted rinse a couple times, but the damage was already done and it took many months and haircuts to get rid of only the worst of the damage done by ACV. ( its super acidic. hair & skin are of a different & certain pH, and need pH balanced products meant for them)
Be very careful, even if people rave about something & it seems safe.

Its for everyone, its just clay. It just so happens to help with curl patterns. Its main purpose is to clean and get rid of buildup (black heads, shampoo buildup)

It’s for everyone. All it does is removes toxins and build ups. I have straight hair with waves at the end. It’s also thick and this mask works well for my scalp, hair and skin.

I dont think it's necessary to shampoo after then clay. The clay already removed impurities. I guess its a personal choice.

I have textured curly hair, i added castro oil AND a little coconut oil, left it on for like 25 min and washed it out and even used a deep conditioner, the only way I can describe how it made my hair feel was like i over bleahed my hair back when I was a teenager, it still smells like vinegar 😷😷 I also made a face mask with the clay and acv with a little vitamin C and it broke my face out and it BURNED MY FACE, ill blame the face mask on my sensitive skin but I have a job interview in a few days and in going to have dry hair and a bright red face so I love that for me 😊

try using it with no apple cider vinegar and just water!!!! it might mean your skin is too sensitive for the vinegar!

I am very skeptical. I would think this would dry out your hair? I have used apple cider vinegar on my hair before and it made it feel so dry and actually made the color lighter over time. This mask product isn’t even formulated to be used on the hair….
