LOL that percussion multipad should be nominated for the guinness world record for more names HXW, dbdrums nPad Gear4Music DD90 Digipad Avatar PD-705 and now Lekato,
I love mine! You convinced me to buy after watching many of your videos. I recommend buying two of the PDL-HH191 Footswitch if you plan on using one for hihat and one for bass drum. I had to return a more fancy Roland footpedal, which worked great as a single pedal- but once I added another, the functionality was disabled. I use the pad as a midi controller into digistix app on the iPad. The sound is very much like Tom Petty. After two months of learning, I can play Carry on Wayward Son about 98% perfectly. I really appreciate your videos and insight. It serves my needs 100%. I don’t expect the fidelity of a real acoustic set, so with that understanding, it hits the mark!
Does each Pad can be use as Midi Note with Sensitivity Velocity? Because its better to use this than a midi keyboard for percussion so im just wondering. Please Reply
My question is how loud are the pads? I live in an apartment and I don't want my neighbors to hear ANY sound. Best way to know would be to beat on the pads while the unit is turned off.
Anyone know if you could load song-length wavs for backing tracks via USB thumbdrive and load them on this? Or do you have to used it as a MIDI controller with a laptop to do this?
At the risk of sounding like a neophyte --which I am--what are the benefits of this over a regular tabletop drum? Those cost half as much. In any case, thanks for all of the advice with respect to drums and music production in general.
I assume you mean something like a Pyle PTED06? These just have many more features such as sample import, expandable with 4 triggers and two switches, looping, triggering ableton sequences, etc..... You can use them as a standalone device, or use them as an addition to another kit.
Hola. Estoy entre esta y la SamplePad Pro Alesis. Pero algunos me dicen q la Alesis salió con varios detalles malos. Sabes algo? En la Lekato puedo meterle igual multiples samples? Cuantos trae? Me interesa mucho tu opinión. Gracias.
I know I'm incredibly late to this video, but can you tell me how this multipad compare to the yamaha dd75? In term of sounds and ease of playing? And thanks for the great videos
I read a review stating if two pads are hit simultaneously only the sound from one pad comes out. Is this true? Or 2 pads be triggered at the same time? Huge decision factor
Don't buy it, i have one and no review says it is not able to trigger 2 pads in the same time. People say its Roland or yamaha killer, nope it's not. I got it under MILLENIUM brand. It's availible on Amazon, Allie,Geekbuying etc. this is why the reviews are dishonest. sry 4 my english.
The expansion outlets don’t work well with Roland pads at all. The signal either cuts out or is low volume. Anyone else have this issue? Anyway to fix it?
I have a Yamaha pad hooked to mine. I also hooked up alesis nitro mesh pad as well. One thing I can’t figure out is I can’t get the duel zone to work. Well it actually has 3 zones but I know the module won’t support that.
@@demonicsweaters makes since. I just got an interface to the pc so I am able to livestream with other musicians on discord. Or we may switch to zoom so less delay. But my friend wants to record. But really I just enjoy jamming with people. I only really play at the church they have a nice Roland there. And my brother plays the trumpet.
Just bought one of these and I have a question. Has anyone been able to load their own samples using a MAC? I'm on MAC OSX 13 Ventura and I've been unsuccessful in getting my own samples to load onto the PD705. I can confirm that the Lekato is on the latest firmware v4.27, my USB stick is formatted as FAT32, and my samples are Mono 16bit/48khz. I placed my samples into the only folder on the USB stick labeled "pad_wave" I plug the stick into the device, turn the power on, press the SETUP and OK buttons at the same time to get to the USB menu and the USB stick never gets recognized. Indicated by the lack of a USB icon on the PD705. When I try and to load my samples I get an error message. I've tried multiple USB sticks and formatting. The only thing I haven't tried is their "WaveManager" software, but I was under the impression that that was no longer necessary. I've reached out to Lekato Support, but haven't heard back. Any help and/or step by step instructions on how to load samples using a MAC computer would be greatly appreciated.

Since you have use both, is there any real difference between the Lekato and the HXW PD 705s? Thanks
Nope

The answer to this question is a matter of opinion. But I prefer the PD705.
@@demonicsweaters Many thanks for your answer sir

No, that’s not true. It is polyphonic.
How to play the pad along side a Drum set
Just put it next to the drums and play it? I'm not sure what you're asking.
Does it have good Timpani sounds?
You can add any sound you want.
Hi…which one is better this pd705 or cpd1000..im in dilemma
The PD705 is one of my favorite pieces of gear I own. I sold the cpd1000, so there's my answer, haha.
😂 thanks for ur reply..
it that just a switch hat input ?
and how is the rebound ( as compared to an octapad, better? )

@@damianbiaobrzeg2789 ok thanks, .. i've been watching the Yamaha Multi-Pad 12 prices dropping lately.

Mine works fine with Roland pads
I have a Yamaha pad hooked to mine. I also hooked up alesis nitro mesh pad as well. One thing I can’t figure out is I can’t get the duel zone to work. Well it actually has 3 zones but I know the module won’t support that.
@@hymiecamp I don't think they support dual zone pads. I think the intention of the inputs is to be split for more pad connections.

you amazon link is broken
Thanks, I fixed it!
Can I use Roland kick trigger and hihat pedal with this device?
Yeah, you need to plug them into the trigger inputs, and reprogram the sounds assigned to this inputs, but they work fine.
Would these trigger using only your hands?
Not really
Can it connect to Logic Pro?
Yes
