It was mid Corona when hé was in Bruges . Normaly we have around 8 million tourists a year and theres around 20 000 people living in the center . But with Corona , We could only leave our house for Food or to walk our dog ;) .

it's actually a generally quiet town too. I went there a couple of weeks ago, and most tourists only show up between 11am and 6pm. Before and after that it's virtually empty.

In order to appreciate any city you must show where 95 % of people live which means working class . Not just where the 5 % of population live I mean bourgeoisie because you can find even in Nigeria very beautiful neighbourhood
In Bélgica you can find misery in a lot of neighbourhoods
@Jan M it Seems thst this tiny city live people with good incomes. Maybe there are very few people that belong to the working class in bruges ,Between 15 % to 20 % of belgium people are at risk in financial poverty. Maybe houses are very expensive in bruges Thank you for your view
Behind every façade there is a story to be told , you got rich and poor like everywhere in the world . Btw the buildings look nice because its Unesco Heritage and are protected.
@@christopheverheecke6719 I think first we must protect nature and have better neighborhoods for 95 % of population and not to pay for a few to live in good buildings because a few of the Unesco think must be protected
