Thanks for the tutorial . I did a version of this but with double crochets and half double crochets in between the rows. I will definitely try your version. Truly appreciated

    Love this stitch/pattern Nora❣️
Thanx so much for teaching this.
I have your notifications turned on but didn’t get the notification for this stitch but just got your “shorts” notification of this stitch & loved it so much I had to come watch it right away 😂
You know how much I love textured stitches with no holes…🤣
    Truly appreciate you.

I think I would do 3 rows of single crochet in between so that the braids are separated and have the braids go in opposite directions.... going to try this thanks

@@CrochetByNora hey there Nora I certainly hope you understand though I am intermediate on a lot of stitches and beginner when it comes to trying something out the way that you and only a few others I am subscribed to do. I hope you understand I was asking you if I were to add one more loop to each braid or arrow if it would still work with single crochet stitch in the middle. Or would it make the ends or any part of it sloppy. I know you w all say all the best of you that I learned from to make a swatch. I have so many blankets on my list to make I never make the swatch. I just occasionally ask one of my favorite seasoned tutorial teachers. So if I were to try this to make a big body blanket or full size or even for a baby, (possibly), would it work? I’d rather ask you than use the time that could have been spent crocheting a gift all to find out It was a horrible idea, a waste of time or sloppy, having to undo it. When I get advice from you, Mumsy makes crochet or a few others who actually respond to us it always works out. Just need to know what you or maybe some other seasoned crocheters think about it

@@wynamaarp7024hi! You can add one more loop to the braid but remember you will have more texture but it will be a little firmer. If that is what you require. Absolutely it will work and look great. For a baby baby blanket stick with the same number of loops ❤

Nora would it be possible for me to go into second stitch three times with double to make braids a little bigger?? I feel awkward even asking seeing as I’ve never varied from a pattern. Just curious if it would be possible or hurt anything

Hi! Absolutely.. I cant see a reason why that would not work. Try a small chain sample using 3 double crochet together and see how that works. Thats the beauty of crochet ! You can try and change the the stitch you are using to create another pattern. Let me know if it worked ❤
