    Always great work.
    From your experience at what point in the chain do you like to add the De-ess
    Before/ after compressing?
    Before/after Eq?

      I would put the De-Esser high up so it comes at the start of your processing

    hi, can you please tell me how I can prevent the audio level spike or peaking while recoding in adobe audition.....as there are sever words where voice get high..I know how to make decrease the audio peaking after recoding the audio but the issue is my microphone completely destroyed that peaking voice so I need to do this while recording from directly adobe audition..!!
    So, hope you got the issue and please help me out...!!
    Thanks, from India #love

    • @MikeRussell
      @MikeRussell  Рік тому +1

      You need to set the levels correctly before recording so your loudest peak will not clip. You can then work with the audio in post processing

      @@MikeRussell yes, how I can set the level that's a question...where is this setting ...?

    • @MikeRussell
      @MikeRussell  Рік тому

      That depends on your audio set up.

    • @anmol6835
      @anmol6835 Рік тому

      @@MikeRussell OK, so the mic which I'm using that will depend on that right..? and it will not depend on adobe audition or any other software.....?

    • @MikeRussell

      Adobe Audition records what's put in to it, you do not adjust the recording levels in Audition.

    • @MikeRussell
      @MikeRussell  7 місяців тому

      The stock de-esser plugin in Studio One 5 is called "Pro EQ," you can use it to achieve similar results as a traditional de-esser.
