Despite what the copyright pranksters at UA-cam say, the version of "Fiddle Faddle" by Leroy Anderson I used here is not the Eastman Rochester "Pops" Orchestra, but an earlier version from a 78 on Decca Records, issued in 1951 conducted by the composer himself. The much slower Frederick Fennell 2017 rendition is here for comparison. ua-cam.com/video/n14AhC1vKeA/v-deo.html
I live near Hartlepool and for me bus is the best way to get to Durham City as by train it's either via Newcastle or via Thornaby and Darlington (unless it's a Sunday and you can take advantage of the 3 a day direct Hartlepool to Darlington services!)so it'll be good to have the bus station reopened. It's wasn't so good when they went from the street as the 24 went from a different stop to the 58 and 59 and they were quite far apart .

It's good to see it finally open I think I might have a look on Saturday to see what it's like in person

I am going with the boys to have a look myself on Wednesday, the 21st February. I've been waiting for it to open. This is part of my research.😂🏴
I know they should be a direct train line from Hartlepool to Durham. Instead, I've got to get the arriva. 24 usually a double-decker bus.🏴
