DLI (Dual Language Immersion) Program

One of the most celebrated programs at RUSD over the past several years is our Dual Language Immersion (DLI) education course for students. Students must begin in Kindergarten, so they are immersed in a classroom environment of both English and Spanish. This way they become fluent and biliterate. After several years with the program, we have students who are now in middle school and high school. You can see the progression and just how fluent even our Elementary students are. DLI is currently available at six elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school. A student would go to a DLI site for the duration of their K-12 education.
