Owsome glad you starting making videos again real quality to watch. And thanks for info of these great shops for custom parts i wish i can do something like that for my diana bandit pistol.
Great build. In the process of building something similar. I am going to use the Buck rail grip frame,. Same breech but in black and a red dot. I plan on polishing the ID of the transfer port. Thought about using a LW 10.1 barrel and a 1701 trigger frame but had to stay within the cost guard rails. Would love to see some videos on making custom grips. Great skill to pick up.
Very respectful offhand 10 shot group. The grips look good definitely a nice update over the stock grips. I noticed that the breech & ldc that there composite 3d printing designed by TKO one of my favorite when it comes to 22xx upgrades. I like your build I have several older builds that I have done it's cook to see whats happening on the scene in 2024. Thanks for the video 😊
I love seeing other people's mods , I like the work you did and the wood working is top notch . This wild thought came to me. Have you ever thought of trying to manufacture a wood breech? I bet it would look stunning and for sure noone has done it yet as far as I can see . I super modded mine and have all metal parts/ bling build except the grips . I'd say A+ on the overall look .
Nice video for ideas on modding my 2240. I'd really appreciate seeing how you made the grips as I have an Air Venturi Comp 10 and the grips are a bit too small for my big old fingers. Those CVLife red dots are pretty slick, especially for the price point on them. I have one I put on my Ruger MK IV .22 for our steel matches here and it's every bit as durable and adjustable as some of the higher priced models. They've come a long way. Thanks for the video and info.
From my experience it's much much better to use a modified (softer) valve spring than power adjuster, a lot less cycle stress. Also a power adjuster wound in for max spring tension just makes it so much harder for the sear to disengage the hammer.... heavier trigger pull. So unfortunately your mods are clashing. You need parts to work harmoniously together .... not fight each other.
@@halfrowk I agree but with heat in Texas over 100 deg that is a ton of pressure on the valve to open. I’ve gotten valve lock at times with the extreme heat. Temps in the mid 70’s your spot on.
@Wingman115 Hey it's just the truth ! I've had 7 out of 11 Gamo brake barrels bad right out of the box !! Everyone says send them back but the thing is it would cost $65.00 to send one bad gun back to Gamo then another $65.00 in shipping to get it back to me ! So why would anyone pay $130.00 in shipping for a gun they paid $159.00 for doesn't that make the cost of the gun $289.00 ??
@Wingman115 I hope I'm not right but I have a bad feeling !! My big worry is if Crosman / Benjamin is going to be like Gamo now and not sell any parts at all !?!? I have two Marauders one standard in 25 cal and a field target in 22 !
@@timmy4539 I always keep spare parts for my prod and disco. I just hate to wait for air try to find parts when needed. Plus there’s enough aftermarket vendors out there I think will be OK for a long while.
Hi John I like the new video you always do a great job.i am getting ready to modify a 2250 put an 18-inch barrel on it and I'm going to do a little trigger work and may do a power adjuster also oldgeorge John wait until you get to be my age am 80 I have Williams peep sights on all my guns . I ran my gun to the chronograph and came out 665.2 fps

Very nice build Wingman! Like you said, "you're only limited by your imagination." That says it all, thanks for the video.
Great build!
Yeah, seeing you throw a new power valve on it would be great!
Fantastic job my friend, those grips turned out beautifully. I definitely think a video showing the process of making them would be helpful. Cheers
I may have to dig our that vintage piece of walnut.

Pimp that Gat. Dig the target grips. I cheated and got an HW44 second hand.

What's it doing on the chrony?
How more powerful can be?
Did u consider exchanging the factory stock valve with a the Boos value one?
I will be doing that next.

How much would u sell the wood grips for ?? I'm in New Zealand .

If I do any modifications on the gun it's prohibited because that's stupid law in Kenada
Sorry to hear that my friend.
Now that Gamo owns Crosman / Benjamin I'm done with them !! I've been burned by Gamo to many times with junk guns that they build !!
