SO GOOD. Prometha is as brilliant as it is beautiful. It's really one of those magical (literally) pieces of art/literature that really does have a transformative power to it
The story by Alan Moore & the incredible Art by J.H. Williams III truly needs to be reprinted in ABSOLUTE FORMAT!!!

Hey, Mike! I love your passion & enthusiasm for comics, bro! It's one of the many reasons I love your channel! Probably because I share that passion & enthusiasm for the medium, as well! I've not been feeling very well as of late, & was just planning on sleeping all day(or as much as I could to avoid the pain & sick feeling). But I had just enough in me to break out my tablet-- which is right next to me-- to check if any UA-cam vids had dropped that may distract me from how I'm feeling right now, & I saw the indicator on my tablet that you'd put out a video, & had to check it out. And while I don't have "Promethea," & have never read it(looks & sounds interesting, though), your sharing of your love for it has made me wanna break out some of my trades to read today! Your video made me want to try to read some comics for awhile-- even though I don't even feel like even getting up to go grab some(my Crohn's is kicking my butt that much right now). I may decide to check out a few digital comics I haven't read yet, or would enjoy reading again! Regardless, thank you, my brother, for this video & your enthusiasm displayed within it! I may still feel like crap, physically, but you've helped my mood, & given me the incentive to want to try reading some comics to distract me from this flare-up(which they have done before when sick like this). Is this a superhero book?
I'm one of those that generally avoid Alan Moore and most of the writers out of the UK. It's not for a lack of trying. I've read Watchmen at least once. Tried almost everything Moore wrote during his time at the ABC line and to be honest I remember none of it. I maybe liked League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and his Tom Strong book. I collected Promethea when it was coming in singles but even in my late 20's I found the themes and content way over my head. I want to give Promethea another chance but worry I'll just end up being as confused as the first time I read it then stuck with books I'll never open up again.
Truthfully I had a tough time getting into Moore’s work. I think I’ve reread all of his books multiple times in the hopes of finding that excitement that I’ve seen other comic fans share for Moore’s work, and it took a while with each title before things clicked, so I’d say give it another shot! His Swamp Thing run is likely the gentlest series to get into, but they all require some effort to fully appreciate
I would LOVE to know if you Book 1 is glue or Sewn. The Book 1 I have is Black Label, and not Sewn. My book 2 is Vertigo, and Sewn. If your book 1 is glue to it isn't worth refunding to me.
