Cool video! Gotta walk me through your shop door not opening against the wall? I’ve seen that one other time and the contractor had to come back and fix it.
I think it's pretty cool how they clean it all the way down to bare foundation. All that webbing and poop is great for the garden. I don't find it gross at all. It's their job and they do it well.
I had 2 brood supers that were infected with wax moth and what I did was scrape to the foundation and everywhere on the hive body that had any evidence of infestation. From one have I got a plastic sack full of infestation, which I threw in the trash.
Nicely done! The good news is wax moths, and their associated damage, are not vectors for spreading disease. In other words, equipment can safely be used after it is scraped and cleaned without the need to disinfect. Cheers!

Haha, I never really paid much attention to that but you are right!

Haha! Fair enough! :-)

Happens to the best of us.
Oh how I hate them things
So the plastic foundation can be power washed and reused?
Yes. No need to power wash. Just a garden hose and scraping tool will suffice. Wax moth damage does not spread disease.
