    Clean bike and man I need to thank you for respecting your neighbors like that. I hate it when people wail on their bikes around their neighbors. Ride safe man.

    Hey Wormanatti --> I posted previously on how much I liked your video. I went to buy this bike and I ended up getting the CBR 1000RR and I really like it. It has a lot of get up and go power and I have no problems getting in and out of traffic with that kind of pick up. I am sure your bike is just as good, but thanks again. You convinced me to get Honda.

    600's are scary sick in the power bands. as long as you respect the bike and what it can do it wont be a problem. the power to weight ratios and the way it handles is just so smoothe and awsome. its a scary bike when you REALLY get on it.
    respect it, and you'll be fine bro.

    love your bike and your attitude towards this bike and just love this entire video from start to finish bro. Very positive. I might be getting this bike too soon, so im happy to hear someone say really good things about it. Props!!

    Don't know what happened to my last post.. Wormanatti -> I agree with you on the lights. Your video convinced me to get this bike. I went to the Honda dealer and ended up getting talked into the CBR 1000RR. It is also a pretty good bike, lots of power (probably too much for me, but I am loving it. Thanks for pushing me to the Honda bikes.

    Thanks I appreciate it. The Kawasaki was my 1st choice originally. The guy wouldn't budge over a 100 bucks. He told me to look at the Honda that was a 100 less in the store. I checked online & found out it was better. THE BEST 100 bucks I saved ever! The bike is amazing.

    Beautiful bike man, and good commentary. The two bros sounds amazing on the 600 rr. I'm hopefully picking up a cbr not too long from now. great bike- do doubt. So darn comfortable! Fits me the best out of any bike. The lean angle is just the best for me. I can't wait. Stay safe. Peace.

    Thanks. The bike is awesome & more than enough for these crowded streets, parkways etc. She looks even better today. I'm making changes during the winter since there no way to ride it in this mess.

    I totally agree. Though we came in a close second in the majority of the shootouts last year. You can't beat Honda's quality. Their history of quality is unmatched!

    Hey Wormanatti,
    Excellent vid man! I'm a new rider and was havin hard decisions of which bike to get, including engine size, and make but your vid definetly sold me on the 08 600rr. Very true bout this bike deserving that exhaust and keepin the lines right. Thank you for your intelligent and enthusiastic video!

    Dude i was at the Honda dealership today, sat on the 2009 CBR 600 and I fell in love. I wanted to take it home with me today but since I live in the north east I'm waiting till next spring to get a bike. The wait is going to suck but it will be well worth it.

  • @Wormanatti
    @Wormanatti  15 років тому

    Thanks. You made an excellent choice. You will not be disappointed. Comfortable for a sportbike, light (lightest 600), powerful(most midrange) & you get the Honda reliability. Can't beat it. Get a few upgrades & your off the charts. Start with an exhaust b/c stock on any bike STINKS! Then get a fender eliminator & lights.

    you sound so excited just talking about it, and rightfully so.
    now this is what hard work and taking care of your money can do for you. very nice bike, just the idle sounds amazing. im still going to get an R6 for my first bike anyway, money and what it puts to the ground wil be more than enough.

    Pipe is Stiletto only for Honda. A pc3 basically changes the stock fuel injection set up. If you want to maximize the use of your aftermarket exhaust. You need one with a professional map done. You can make more hp to. Maybe anywhere to 4 to 10 hp gain. It basically allows you to make changes that will affect fuel & air curves to find where the bike will best perform. More gas & better fuel to air ratio makes for more power. You will lose mpg slightly. Better throttle response also.

  • @southvballa
    @southvballa 11 років тому

    Dude respect for recommending the power commander chip...so many knuckleheads out there just throw on a slip-on and ruin the power curve of this bike!

    I appreciate your input. I agree with you that the R6 looks a little meaner and aerodynamic.I know with these types of sports bikes they're meant to be ridden hard but i'm the type of rider who doesn't like to continuously red-line and ride the bike hard.

    i agree with this guy. brit guy here. rode a 125 for 6 months. was boring as hell. had a few spills. been riding a zx6 for 4months now and no problems. KAWASAKI MAKE THE BEST BIKES EVER.
    never used to like kawasakis but ended up with one by chance and i fucking love it. want a zx6 08

    Helps protect your bike a crash.They stick out from the sides of your bike. Protecting the fariing from major damge or scratching. Also could help in preventing frame damage.

    this was the first motorcycle i've ever ridden...never drove a bike before and my friend let me ride his graffiti edition around a parking (empty of course). I was suprised at how much power these bikes have and how easy they are to ride...they really are crotch rockets

  • @firebladenut
    @firebladenut 15 років тому

    power comander is an electronic device fitted to the ecu on modern fuel injected bikes which allows you to adjust fueling throttle response etc. Its prime use is to get more power from an exhaust. No point with a slip on but a full system they are a must.

  • @Wormanatti
    @Wormanatti  15 років тому

    A PC3 is I believe a must have. I have read from the pros is a must have if you want to maximize & optimize your add-on such as an exhaust, aftermarket filter etc. When you put on a full exhaust or even a slip on you change the way your bike burns fuel. That determines how much power you can make. It can cause you to run lean or too rich. A PC3 allows you to change your fuel curves air to fuel mixture. You can improve mileage, make more HORSEPOWER etc. Making power means burning more gas though

    The CBR 600rr is THE BIKE, it was revolutionary when it came out in 07. You should go do a track day, you will see that the 600 can hang just fine with the 1000's, faster in the corners actually, but they will catch you in the straights, but not as much as you think.
    And it is much more forgiving if/when you have rider error, this bike will make you look like a much better rider than you actually are (no offense, we are all learning, even Rossi)

  • @Wormanatti
    @Wormanatti  15 років тому

    39 to 43 aa gallon. There are factors that determine how much each bike will get. Changing the exhaust, filter, ecu & doing other things can take your number up or down. At the end of the day more power more gas as the gdog said. The PC3 helps you maximize both ends & find a near perfect balance. When you get an aftermarket exhaust not having one is HALF stepping. Get a filter also K&N or BMC.

  • @Kingw3

    I love all of Honda but what really make this 600rr better than the other bikes in this 600 class

  • @Wormanatti
    @Wormanatti  15 років тому

    Thanks! My elimanator is Competition Werkes. Exhaust wise I like Stiletto b/c its made for the bike. Jardine which is pretty much the same. Hyperflo is sick! 2 Bros is a great pipe for the price. Laser Extreme looks cool & sound good.

    Those are 09 numbers. I know for a FACT in 2008 every major tester site, mag or whatever. We won the shootouts in them all. The R6 is nice. I said in one of my video comments it's the sharpest looking 600. You guys have great riders in GP & AMA. We won quite a bit races too. The tide is shifting. We about to RULE! I look forward to 09 shootouts. 08 shootouts are available on youtube.

  • @Wormanatti
    @Wormanatti  15 років тому

    I can'y stress it enough. TAKE YOUR TIME. The bike is faster than you can think. The throttle as well as clutch is your FRIEND. Be kind to them. Spend time with them. Learn them.

  • @Wormanatti
    @Wormanatti  15 років тому

    Thanks! Yeah that 2 Bros has some sound. If I had a carbon fiber one I would have kept it. I have them very high on sound on my list. As well as HyperFlo, Jardine, D&D, Laser, Ti force, Brock(Mean!), M4 & Devil. There other more costlier exhaust. But for the bang of the buck & sound these are my favorites. You're right the angle & overall handling is SUPERB on this bike. When I ride my friends bikes. They feel bulky, stiff & wierd. You be safe too.

    I actually smiled when you flicked the ignition man... sounds sublime... getting one of these when I turn 17 next year... Living in GB I can do that and have it restricted to 33bhp - just as well, gives me some time to get used to it properly, i.e. the torque and gears that I just don't get on my moped :p
    Totally agree with what you said about the yoshis, too!

  • @Wormanatti
    @Wormanatti  15 років тому

    I have the same bike man, I love it. I really can't think of any other bike I want, a liter bike is too much for the streets. The new kaw 636 looks hot but no steering damper and with no steering damper I've heard the bike will give u tank slappers at higher speeds. I hate the look of top mounted steering dampers so adding one to the 636 would suck. Tthe cbr's steering damper is built in and looks much cleaner that way. I'm not feeling the 13 cbr600rr either.

    Thanks alot! I paid 8,300 before race package tax etc. I won't say where I brought it from b/c the manager was nasty to me. You can find them at several places in NYC to Long Island. There's a place actually that has used ones with LOW miles to new ones for good prices. They have a listing on craigslist with the prices, pics as well as store info.

  • @Wormanatti
    @Wormanatti  14 років тому

    Thanks alot. Had a pretty good ride on it today. The roads are really bad out here though. We official made today's ride coming out day. 2 of boys I was with today gave me a good laugh. They claim catching up to me while I'm slowing for traffic is keeping up. One of them has a 07 ZX6r thinks he can hang. I have to get a new camera & put him to open shame on the tube. Maybe it's his ZX but that thing don't stand a chance.

  • @MitchD21
    @MitchD21 15 років тому

    Well that's fine, but the reason these things aren't there on the bike as stock is because it'd make the retail price unreasonable. A full system race exhaust, PCIII, damper, better tyres, suspension setup, hugger, rearsets etc would just increase the price by like £3000.
    Plus, some people arent' experienced enough to feel the benifits, but it's there as an enhancment for those that can.
    Anyway, great vid, sweet bike. Ride safe!

  • @Wormanatti
    @Wormanatti  14 років тому

    The power commander along with SLIP-ON or Full system will add 3 to 6hp or so with a simple map. With a custom map you could get much more. Up to 114hp with a slight gear change. So basically your 09 could go 99hp to 104hp or so. If your looking for a lil boost on a budget. Get an exhaust slipon or full system if you can, pcIII or IIII, k&n filter. You will notice a significant difference.

    You're entitled to your opinion. Me personally I wouldn't waste my time. A bike will go as fast as you tell it too. I know females who started out on 1000's. Had I known that I may have brought one. I wish intimidate by a larger bike based on what my boys told me. It's about talking your time. It's like growing up. The more comfortable you get the faster you run as a infant. Their body doesn't change intially. It's just confidence.

  • @Wormanatti

    You are going to like the Cbr. The handling is superb & the midrange is crazy for a 600. It has a mean pull. My friend has a 07 Gsxr 750. He can't leave me. I think it makes him a lil mad too. The gears are kinda short b/c it makes most of it power at the top of each gear. But I like the bike ALOT.

    Thanks. Two Bros great sounding pipe. Make sure they center the pipe as much as possible with the wheel. GET FRAME SLIDERS. A must have. Fender eliminator would be a good buy. Stock is hideous on any bike. Be safe.

  • @Wormanatti
    @Wormanatti  14 років тому

    The Triumph is definitely a good bike. However correction the 08 675 weights in at 417 wet. The 08 600rr weights 410 wet.
    In 09-10 the 675 comes in 422 wet while the Cbr 600rr is 410 wet non-abs. The 675 makes 104.4 at THE WHEEL. The 600rr makes 106.3 At the wheel is what matters. I checked several independent sites for the info. The Cbr had a top speed 4mph than the 675 also. In my dream world I would have a 675 in my garage as part of my stable too.

  • @Wormanatti
    @Wormanatti  15 років тому

    Think 1st. ABSOLUTELY always go with your first thought. NEVER second guess. If your mind says don't ride today. Don't split the cars or whatever. DON'T do it. Safety 1st. Get good riding gear. Get an exhaust, frame sliders & a good lock. I encourage riding boots. They make a big difference. TCX & SIDI boots are my favorite daily riding boots.

    Yeah I got to admit the ZX6 did win in most of the shootouts. They made one heck of a bike. I'll always ride with Honda b/c their quality is unmatched. You look at the average bike events across the nation. Usually the older bikes are Hondas. They look & function very well after many years. You just can't beat their quality. It's superior over other brands. Be safe out there.

  • @Wormanatti
    @Wormanatti  14 років тому

    @DudeBr00 Slip ons don't come with the catalytic converter. You can have your cat taken off by either getting a full system or just have a good custom muffler car shop cut it out & put a straight pipe on to continue to the slip on. Which in essence is a boot leg version of a full system. The only different is the actual full system would have a slightly larger diameter from the heads to the mid.

    if you plan on riding passengers, id lower it 1" to be safe. but you can safely lean it either way and be good by yourself. im 115lbs and 5'9" and this bike is super light and easy to handle. i wouldnt lower one to be honest. break it in and it will fit you perfect.

  • @Wormanatti
    @Wormanatti  15 років тому

    I rather have a slipper clutch than ABS personally. The Suzuki 750 is great bike. I wouldn't say its more comfortable than a Honda bike. They actually did a shootout test with the Honda 600rr vs the Gsxr750 last year. The Honda is that darn good. Honda has the best quality & reliability too.

  • @Wormanatti
    @Wormanatti  15 років тому

    Wow! I don't know much about the 2009 R6. I'm definitely interested in 09 shootouts. However the Cbr is quite a machine. I just purchased the new Sportrider mag & it says the 09 has made few changes but great ones. It has increase in more power which is unbelievable when it was class leading for 2008. They have some nice color schemes too. ABS option is available also for a 1000 extra.

  • @Wormanatti
    @Wormanatti  14 років тому

    Oh yes. I made a 2 part video talking about the 2009 shootouts. The 09 Kawee is a monster. We came in second on every shootout except one. Hats off to Kawee for taking the middleweight class to another level. Honda will be back for sure. I haven't seen a 09 around my way. I'm curious to see how we'd match up. In my region the CBR doubled the ZX in sales. I had it checked.

    @Wormanatti yeah i cant wait haha. lookin one of these jardine pipes i think. really like the look of the bike with this. also the hyperflo exaust looks awesome, the newer all black carbon one. think you can get a package with the fender eliminator kit included, it really looks the nuts. i also like the way you guys can hide your number plates just over the rear hugger, it really tidys the back end up. our plates would even come close to fitting there, but yeh exaust upgrade top of the list!

  • @Wormanatti
    @Wormanatti  14 років тому

    There are a few exhaust companies that send the eliminator kits with the exhaust. If you have an exhaust already. You can find the Competition Werkes, Hot Bodies & a few other eliminator kits at various sportbike websites. My kit is the Competition Werkes.

    GREAT choice for a 1st bike. The graduate to a 1000. The bike is faster than you think.

    It's called excitement. Thanks for the compiliment. I'm glad you think the R6 is better than every other 600. When's the last time you guys won a shootout. My Honda will walk all over your 600. I'm running with 1000's man forget your R6. Thanks for another view. One step closer to a half of millllllllll.

    Thanks. I slid about 100 to 200 into a rail in a turn. Got rid of the 2007. It's very minor changes btw the years.

    Yep Honda is the choice for me. The 954 is a beast for sure. 2 of my friends have one. Its a great used bike. They still command a pretty good dollar for one too.

    Yep. Just be smart, safe & listen to more experienced riders. Stay at your own pace. Nobody gets it all in a day, year or whatever. Live to ride another day.

    @DasPenguin85 Thanks alot. Great choice my friend. I agree also with you. My friend has a Busa & he let me ride it. Not a daily rider for me. However I love what the guys do in the South & West with them. They look super sick customize with the fat tires, crazy paint, chrome & all. That's all I would want one for is a show bike.

    @MrVman769 I can't wait either. We had 70's the other day but I couldn't get off work in time to enjoy it.

    Yeah I talk about that in one of my other videos. Every source I checked & read has the ZX6r on top. Only mag I have gives the CBR an slight edge. ZX6r is a beast this year.

    You need it to maximize the use of add-ons such as an exhaust, k&n air filter etc. Your stock ecu is very limited. The bike is made in the factory to run according to the specs of their filter exhaust etc. The PC3 helps you make power & you can control & maximize the bikes potential. If you have a laptop & know what your doing you can do it right from your home. Or you can buy the New PC4 that maps it's self on the fly in each gear consistantly. I want that one now.

    @slb785 Thanks alot. Love the comment. The R6 is a sweet bike. In my early comments when I first posted the video. I say the R6 is definitely the sharpest looking 600. The lines are sick on that bike. I love the tail on it.
