Ben is probably gonna be silently frustrated that he didn't live up to the promise he made to Lexi. And the fact he didn't get to say goodbye. This was great acting too by Max Bowden as well
Lola was always one of my favorite characters. I always hoped she'd get a happy ever after with her, Lexi and Jay moving away to start fresh somewhere else. But, since this is EastEnders, that was never going to happen. Ben falling to his knees was what he needed to do to show how much he failed. He'll have to deal with not being there for Lola and Lexi in the months to come.
I did not like Ben when he was played by the first two actors but when the next two took over I started to like him. Harry and Max made Ben a good character for me.
On one hand, I’m frustrated with Ben because his impulsiveness to try and save Lola caused him to miss living in the now instead of for a future that never happened. But on the other hand, I get his being upset. Ben kind of represents those people who lost family members during the Pandemic and who couldn’t go and see them because of lockdowns and other issues.
Yeah but he's stubborn and doesn't listen. Look like the whole town gave Ben the look of I told you so. Well we know Jay's going to dog on him for this. He has the right to even Billy should yell at him too. They all were thinking of Lexi and Lola I don't know where Ben's brain was. He always has ideas and there's a reason why his ideas never work. Lola's death should serve as a prime example.
@@a.l.y.a.m.e.d486 Billy doesn’t have the right to say shit. His actions in grief almost led to his missing Lola’s last moments as well, and the only reason he got to be there was because Honey and Phil were running around trying to get him out of jail.
Billy and Jay look like they don’t feel bad Ben didn’t get to say goodbye to Lola. Fantastic acting by max so sad oh my goodness:( he’s a great actor. Ik it’s Bens fault he didn’t get to say goodbye. But he didn’t want to face it that Lola was going to die and no new drug was going to work to make her live that bit longer. Edit: had to change a name auto correct mucked it up on me

I get his reasoning… but he should have thought about what would have been more realistic. If he had done this after Lola told them she had six months left during that brain tumor charity event? That would have been totally totally understandable. But with not even possibly weeks left of her to live? He wants to go /now/ and take the time to fly across the world?
