As always super clear. I play Ceilidhs with mine. Great advice re starting simple. Have progressed from a TC Electronic Ditto to a Boss RC 300. Still use TC. Both are great used with effects too.
Hi Matt, I have been practicing with the looper on my ME-80 and found that rounds and canons were good tools to train myself in the rhythm of looping: coming in rhythmically and not clipping or overhanging phrases.
Great intro, I was always curious about these. QUESTION: do these come with some automatic volume control difference between recording and playback? I imagine while the loop is doing accompaniment you want it to hang back it’s volume a bit to not overtake the melody?
So I’m trying to buy one and the two music shops that exist in my small town of Petoskey Michigan don’t have any in stock. Are there reputable online stores that can ship loopers to me? Thanks

Great “Looping for Dummies” guide. Thanks for your time. 😊
This is the best intro to looping.

Good question. Most loop pedals have a knob you can use to control playback volume.

Well... us.
If Matt can loop, you can too. Well, I was wrong to believe the TV show " Yan can cook, you can too !"
The One Violin Orchestra (aka Nora Kudrjawiscki) has a loop pedal and a five string Skyinbow violin. She can do all that with voice and violin.
