    This is one of the coolest things ever. This is why viscosity is such a big deal when refilling ink cartridges.

    Crazy to think some printers sell as low as 30 bucks. This is microscopic precision technology.

    They didn't show us how colors are mixed! Top secret patent, maybe?

    • @howtocookazombie
      @howtocookazombie 23 дні тому

      Maybe same as pixels: They don't overlap each other and since these droplets are so small, you won't notice, so there is no mixing at all.

    Super helpful, thanks for creating and sharing on UA-cam. If my CMYK values for three colors are 100% Cyan, 50% Cyan, and 10% Cyan, does that mean droplets/dots for 100% Cyan will be bigger than 10% when it's absorbed into the paper?

    • @silentninjas302
      @silentninjas302 5 років тому +5

      No, it changes the density of the droplets. It can print 600 dpi so it changes the ratio of CMYK and paper

      Techs Science multiple colors is the same idea .... Any colored image is composed of 4 channels (Cyan , Magenta , Yellow , Black) , with these 4 colors you can make any color you want , so basically multiply the same process in this video x4 and it can create any colored image you want

    So why are they so dang expensive?

    • @TheNintendobomb
      @TheNintendobomb 5 років тому +4

      Because the price of a inkjet printer is much lower than the production price, this makes people buy them. Then they make the price of the ink really expensive and make them break easily so people will have to buy a lot of ink to use the printer, making the company a lot of money.
