Regarding FPS if you haven't already, I had issues when Nvidia put out new drivers. NerdJosh had a video on it but the tl;dr for a fix that worked for me is under general in settings, in other settings there is this warm up option that does a one time compilation of some shaders and my game has run smoothly since. Just enable and return to title/restart. Hope this helps.
My pc goes in slow motion in world tour every now and then but I just pretend I have sharingan and keep it moving. It's annoying but it's never too slow where it's unfun. Feels like a surprise game mode.
@@naquan59 It sometimes happens when I plug my Hitbox in at the same time as I boot up the game. So, I plug in the Hitbox, set it to PS4 mode, made up+down = neutral, and then load up the game.
Re: 54 fps. Either manually set OBS (or whatever) to a specific core or, probably better, keep your game on its own box and build/buy a cheap box that's good enough to encode 4K.
Big ups to Punk going with Lily she got the short end of the stick in the initial balancing she needs fixes to her wakeup dp and her medium punches they should be special cancelable. JP is a miserable matchup you have to gamble so much to get in and he's not even at a disadvantage up close.

Not really. I'm a Diamond Lily and the difference between "I know this matchup" and "I don't know this matchup" is insane. I think she's also okay against JP matchup wise. Spire is negative on block unless you have stocks. If you have no stocks you have no options in neutral. Your anti-air as Lily sucks - and personally I find Tomahawk buster a really awkward input to input on reaction (for example Manon has quarter circle, whereas Lily needs quarter circle back). Options in neutral game are really bad. Your fastest attack is 3 frames - which is great, but has no range. Your DR is bad in comparison to the actual rushdown characters like DJ or Juri. She has no footsies; 2 of her lows are really stubby and the third is -15 on block. This means her whole neutral game is just landing down heavy into condor winds to get stocks - which you can punish with DI. Playing against Lily is a simple game of keeping her in neutral. You can achieve this fairly easily by jumping a lot and using DI.

All his non spike projectiles dont have a hit box until they reach you so you can either dash through or go through it with a move on certain characters (e.g. Ryu heavy tatsu). Sounds simple until you mix in the fact that he still has spike to mix you up

People in chat not understanding why not having locked 60fps with zero drops is so important. That's why you have so many threads hating on Wi-Fi when in reality most Wi-Fi should be fine (a lot of people that are "wired" used stationary wireless internet... so they're basically on Wi-Fi for that and have zero issues). I've done ping tests for 24-48 hours to different addresses all over and dropped single digit packets at worst... over 48 hours, all with a constant latency. That's not going to cause the issues that people ignorantly cry about. I would argue the majority of stutters you feel and lag, especially with 6's improved netcode, is your game trying to compensate for the drop below 60fps of the other person. The entire game's core timing clock revolves around a locked 60fps, if it can't get that, it compensates on both ends. A bulk of the time you run into the "the Wi-Fi got me" situations, it's almost always cross play or PS4's that can barely maintain 60fps at a neutral state. They hit a frame drop spike and both people get rollback city. In SF5 it was the same in a lot of cases, I noticed that overwhelmingly cross play/PS4 that had horrible lag for me, same in 6. Of course, a potato PC or a setup that's broadcasting would get similar possible stutters. Who knows here, I'm sure Brian's rig can more than handle it without trying, probably Windows deciding it wants to update or run some task that get automatic high priority in the background. Happens to literally everyone that runs Windows, feelsbad. 1 or 2 frames shouldn't really make that much of a different overall, so hovering 59-58 isn't the end of the world (consoles struggle that a lot of the time). It's when potato pc/ps4's spike to like 40fps or so momentarily that cause hiccups. The same reasoning is why all the people saying you need 240hz displays are missing the mark too. The game is locked at 60fps, doesn't matter if your screen renders 240fps. What that means is adaptive sync either lowers your display to 60hz to match the game's frame rate in full screen, or the display's hardware duplicates frames to reach 240hz/fps, which can cause all kinds of artifacts and even noticeable input lag. Same for 120hz obviously, just duplicating fewer frames so hopefully less possible issues.

I disagree. Even ignoring his playstyle there's plenty they could do to differentiate his character archetype from JP's. Dudley's an aristocratic gentleman sportsman dandy. JP is basically just an evil accountant running a NGO; he has an equally classy appearance as a business mogul, but makes himself mostly reserved in manner and doesn't have the kind of flair, finesse, and high energy that Dudley displays with his boxing prowess. Not to mention being a part of British aristocracy, Dudley has all kinds of traits like his love of flower gardens, tea, and vintage cars they could incorporate more into his animations, doing what pure gameplay can't to give him more than just matching JP's "classy zoner" type with a "classy boxer." tl;dr Dudley should still make it in IMO, and he would look absolutely sick as hell with how well-realized the existing cast is. Hopefully he's high on the list of future characters to prioritize after the first four are done.
