Laser engraving machine balsa wood cutting（Bachin D8-4050P 2500mW)

hi friends, in this video i will show the settings of cutting balsa wood.
The machine is Bachin D8-4050P ,2500mW, the software is Engraver Master.
Generally, the thickness of 1-3 mm will easy to cut through.
1\First method :low speed ,one time cut through.
2\Second method :quick speed ,repeat 1~2 cut through

Você está perguntando sobre óculos de proteção a laser? O comprimento de onda do laser azul é de cerca de 450 nm, você pode escolher óculos com lentes azuis ou vermelhas

2.5W just cut the balsa wood about 3mm,but other wood ,will difficut to cut through.

I have a 7W laser, what settings do i use to cut 3-5mm wood

Is your 7W fixed focus? If not, adjust the laser to the smallest spot, then 100% power, and adjust the speed from 300. If you can’t cut through, then adjust it to 200 or below 100. In order to make the cutting edge look better, I will repeat cutting several times

the software have a button: weak light on.When you check this button, it is a weak laser

@@bachinmaker6004 Thank You, not having luck with the settings you have in the demo, it marks the wood but does not cut through, any suggestions. I am using cutting mode, 1 pass 255 speed with a .1125 pixel. weakl ight adjust is set to 255 and 100% power.

@@janicedeshazer1789 if you just want to engraving not cut ,the laser power set about 50%-65%,and ,the speed set about 1500-2200,the software is Engraver Master.

@@bachinmaker6004 I do actually want to cut. Just not able to get the setting correct I am guessing. I am trying to cut 1/32 basswood which is actually thinner than 1/8, so just not sure what I am not doing correctly.

Hey I have 5.5 laser and couldn't cut any wood , I'm I missing something ?

first adjust the focus ,and make sure the laser power is 100%

@@bachinmaker6004 thanks, after that comment I tried it again at 100% 100mm 8 passes and it cut through 6 mm wood but with the same setting it couldn't cut another one of 3mm thickness , it seems it depends on the wood type .
