I forgot to mention the UI/UX updates to the editor screen options panel. Things are looking cleaner and some publishing workflow changes have improved. Happy WordPressing!

This is BY FAR the best WordPress tutorial I've seen. I'm a MERN dev and am taking on extra work doing wordpress. I've been looking for tutorials and they are all basically "which hosting provider is better". This is the ONLY video were it's about WordPress and not plug-ins

Hey Matt, Great summary and congrats on your contribution! One thing you left out, which is a subtle but really useful addition (IMO) that I shared on my channel, is the ability to add negative margins in the UI. It's subtle but really powerful, especially for designers who like to break traditional linear design theory.

Yep, you're right! Hoping these small steps make designing more powerful.

Help me out with understanding the Pattern Override. I created a pattern and made few fields as "Override"-able. I put that Pattern in a template I created which has Header, Pattern with the Override fields, Footer. Now when I want to create a post and I choose this template, the fields that I had marked as Override are no longer editable (they're locked). So if a pattern resides inside a template, can those fields be not overridden?

I was watching this Gutenbricks video, still need to test it out, but it seemed to me that you can create partially synched patterns / components by using Gutenbricks on a Bricks section template🤔 Good to see it happen in Core, but let's hope they keep expanding the functionality and not stop after the initial release

Does it possible to use the Synced Pattern Overrides feature to create posts templates? Like, with titles (h2, h3), place to images or galeries, etc?

Thanks for the summary - and just to let you know, the audio is a bit off, has a bit of pumping - sound dips and comes back louder! Update: Hold that thought, it might be something at my end!
