I am a hobby woodworker, I've been struggling to find something to get my wife for Christmas. She gets whatever she wants so she always tells me she doesn't need anything. I always feel so guilty not getting her anything ( she tells me not to) so I saw your folding stool video and I am making it for her, all I have yet to do is glue on the connectors. It's coming out really nice. She is going to love this as it is hand made and thoughtful. Your video is great I really enjoyed your narration. Thank you soo much, you saved my Christmas. Merry Christmas to you. I look forward to enjoying more of your videos, both informative and entertaining entertaining. God bless 😊
wow your shop tools are impressive. it's really very nice to have those tools and of course one needs to practice using them. it will make makers a life more easier. your cute foldable stool is very nice. thanks for sharing - viewer from the Phils.
Love the design, made an outside table to use when doing a BBQ for the dishes ...etc. Nice & compact and remarkably sturdy, even when using 14mm thick wood (my leftovers from another job).
Very nice build!!! Thank you for such a great video!! What is the manufacturer of that small modern looking block plane you used to break the edges?? I have never seen one like that before!!
Thank you so much. It's the smallest of the planes made by the Bridge City Tool Works

Hello my new friend. I found your channel by chance. I saw that we had something in common. You have good content. I did the same as this taberian. You appear on my channel. I think it's an enjoyable project. I also enjoyed doing it. you did a good job you built it better. Congratulations. I'm happy to be on your channel. I hope you can take a look at my channel. See you on our new projects. I will also look at the other videos on your channel. Stay healthy and happy. See you. Big greetings. Yours truly....
Friction is all you need. No need to glue them in, however you could do it. Just remember dowel works as a hinge so it can only be glued to one of two boards it is connecting

i am looking forward to make this project. the center leg hole is in the middle of leg lenght?
Thank you for this nice sharing. I tried to do the same. But wooden dowels squeak a lot. What could be the reason for this? How can I fix it?
I'm not sure, maybe something to do with the wood you used?

What keeps the dowels in after assembled?
am I worried over nothing?
Also - excellent build, and video.

@@RadeksWorkshop good idea. What do you think about using a pin nailer to immobilize one side of the pin?
It would work for sure

Do those dowels become loose over time?
They do contract and expand a bit twice a year as humidity changes but it doesn't affect the stool
Hey! Great little stool!! What is the height of the finished product?
Thank you, it's about 30cm or 12inches
