Advice for people if u get to the cutting stage, just do the outlines with really bold black markers, it will give you more room for error :)

I can't believe it has been four years now of following you on UA-cam. I've seen your videos and books develop into great masterpieces of anime! Ever since Miki Falls Spring, and all the other videos since then, you've become my favourite Manga artist and author. Keep up the fantastic work Mark.

Yes, that is liquorice tying her hair back,
yes, her hands do fit in the pocket,
    her skirt is candy wrappers
and some of the candies in her hair are gummy bears.
Just some little facts I wanted to throw out. ^-^ Always love your videos!

Mark Crilley you're always so clear about things you're going to be adding later in the video. I'd love to see a video about the prep work you do for your videos. I know you've mentioned before that you do a lot of studying other drawings and photos, and a few technique warm ups to prepare, but you haven't said much else :)

I think a good way to describe Vanellope's skirt would be a reese's peanut butter cup wrapper.

I think it would be really cool to see a chibi pop up character cutting themselves out of the paper. Like, half of their body out and reaching over their body to reach their outline with a knife or scissors.

I'm curious, will you ever try digital drawing? like a full drawing at least, or a short story? You can get a bamboo tablet for little money, and it's excellent. personally I prefer it to a bigger and more expensive wacom. Unless it's a cintiq ofc. But I don't have the budget for that, plus I don't draw enough yet to justify it.

I'd love to see a "how to draw" of a character from a high angle view with the character is looking up at the viewer, so that the character is getting smaller as it gets to their feet. I have tried to draw this so many times but I can't get it right and would love some tips.

Hi mark, I have been watching your videos for 4 years now and absoloutly love them. The first time I checked you out was when I was doing a castle/midevil project for a competition. I couldn't draw a knight so I followed your steps, modified the picture a bit and ended up winning! I have been watching since I would like to make a suggestion because as much as I love all your chibi/manga/anime drawing I feel I may have the same opinions as a lot of other people. I would like u to maybe consider a separate channel for realism and real life sketching. And then maybe keep this one for manga. You see I understand it would be a lot of work and I would not at all expect you to upload as often on both channels but personnaly it would really help me out as I enjoy drawing , sketching and following your realism tutorials. Obviously I understand the disadvantages it may have but I feel the advantages for us viewers of realism could outbalance that. I only just realised recently that a large majority of your most popular and most viewed uploads are the realistic ones. So sorry this was long but please consider this and a reply would be very mush appreciated, thanks!

I was confused about what you were saying about the skirt for a moment and went to look up a picture, and maybe you noticed this as well, but it's actually the little paper cup part of a Reese's peanut butter cup wrapper, rather clever!
I guess I subconsciously thought that was just the hem of the jacket or something, hehe XD

I absolutely love these videos! You doing these and uploading them is awesome, and has inspired me a lot. I've been practicing off some of your videos on my lunch breaks, and it's a lot of fun. Makes the 9-5 hourly wage slave's day a little better. Haha.
One I'd love to see (really love the death note one, super cool) is you do one of one or some of the characters from Avatar the last air bender. Toph, Zuko, and Iroh are my favs. But any would be awesome!!
And please keep it up! I haven't drawn in years, and I'm trying to enjoy life more and get back into it. You've helped a ton already. And I will be buying some of your books from amazon soon no doubt. :)

Hey markcrilley sensei, this was actually worth the watch, I'm content you managed to go mostly real time than time lapse I think the viewers here also like the fact this video was longer than usual, like the time when you drew the leopard or lion illustration it was like what around 40minutes give her take? Anyways, I like this illustration an I'm sure you seen wreck it Ralph an that's how you probably got inspired huh? Happy 4th of July and hope to see another one real soon.
Ps you forgot to get your books at the end of your video to show your viewers
    :-) just a quick reminder.

Awesome video. I have an idea for you which you may have already done (and I just haven't seen it). You could set up two cameras one in your usual spot to show us the art piece while the other is a bit further away to show how you work. You might think it would be boring to see you sitting and talking to a camera, but it could be interesting to some of us. (Your call.)
Also, the line about "sculpting out the eyelashes" reminded me of the detail Michelangelo did in David statue. Particularly the veins in the top of his hands. Crazy details.
I always enjoy your videos. :3
