    Mr. Crilley,
To answer your question, yes, I very much enjoyed the no-time-lapse challenge...just as much as I've enjoyed every other challenge video, instruction video, or conversation video you've done. I enjoy it because, for one, you are an extremely entertaining man. But perhaps more importantly, I want to learn. Simply put, I want to grow my own talent and I benefit by what you offer.
It's understandable why time lapse is something you rely on, and not even something you should have to justify. To be willing to help people the way you have for years is extremely cool, and however you can continue to do so that is not a huge stress on you...do that!
Thank you so much for what you give to all of us! You are an awesome man!

Mark, have you ever considered opening an internet stuff with your own gadgets? And I don't mean mangas but things like shirt's, mugs etc. With your own designs? I was just wondering because that is what most youtubers do and I thought it would be so awesome to get something with your design, for I have all of your mangas and Mastering mangas! :) ~I love your neko girl, super kawaii ^^

I love Kitties! Mark, you truly have been my inspiration for the last few years. I got Brody's Ghost by chance and THEN stumbled on your channel. I was like "Hey, This art style looks really familiar..." Then I freaked out when you brought out your books! Thank you for showing me so much, both in your videos and in Mastering Manga. I hope to get Mastering Manga 2 soon. (I usually never get how to draw books, but decided you were worth it.)
I also want to thank you for showing me that I did not have to choose between Ultra Realism, or the simplified Manga style. For the longest time I was only focusing on one or the other, and was dreading having to choose one. You inspired me to practice them both.
    *Loving Brody's Ghost so much!*

Good video this week Crilley. As a heavily amateur artist, these off the norm videos where you do something like show the process of outlining with the prisma, or even erasing are very fun to watch and give more of a humanization to the person drawing the image. Not to mention it is also a great learning tool; seeing you accidentally colour the hand and go into "damage control" was a refreshing change of pace. Keep it up and I'll be back next week.

  • @Hirashi679_

Hey mark sensei, this was actually a good idea for you to do a no time lapse video because on UA-cam there is like alot of videos involving time lapse you know and I believe that we need more videos like this in my opinion other than that i like this video really cute on the neko chibi. And oh if I remember you mentioned markers here in California their is another brand called spectrum markers that can be a brand you have heard somewhere but those almost look like your touch markers you own :)

Mark, I had absolutely no problem with the length of this video, nor did I share your concerns about it's lack of substantive commentary. As far as I'm concerned, your comments on a lack of commentary IS substantive commentary, because it's funny and you are always entertaining. Thanks again for another great video. Your chibi neko is adorable. Luv ya ta death!

I had this idea for quite some time of creating a drawing of myself as three of my alter egos; Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and my every-day-fan-girl-self. I found inspiration for Harley and the fan girl through your chibi videos, but somehow couldn't quite find a pose or essence for Catwoman. This was timed perfectly as how I went back to that drawing just a few hours ago and then you posted this video. Thank you for all of these videos, your amusing commentary, and your brilliance and wisdom with everything dealing with art. I have learned so much from you. Thank you Mark!

I don't particularly mind if it's the Old Man time lapse or real time, you get to appreciate your art either way! ( And not to forget your most funniest blabbering :) !! ) Although I have to admit if i had to choose I think I prefer the narrated videos with some time lapse, because I just get the feeling of your drawing being more complete that way. Anyway, you are a real inspiration, already got both your mastering manga book, keep drawing!

I have to say mark I really appreciate this video for a few reasons but the biggest is that your past chibi videos are 10ish minutes long which even though there is time lapse in them can make people think that's roughly how long it takes you to do it so they would say they weren't good if they didn't finish in that time but this video shows that a chibi drawing can still take a good amount of time for anyone

I've always wondered how to draw a crazy or insane character. One that seems like he was just pushed off the edge and is about to go on a psychopathic murdering rampage. That sounds fun.
    Thank you for reading!

I love the no time lapse approach and would love to see more but I do feel some parts could benefit from time lapse, like the outlining and erasing part. Its nice to see your whole process though. Take care and I can't wait to see your next one!

I wouldn't mind longer videos at all! Besides, even if people don't have too much time on their hands, they can watch it in segments.

What is That pencil that you outline with? I have multiple Outliners to outline but Their are markers but I would want something like that, What is it? I used a black color pencil but when I use it and erase, it smudges the paper with that black color

I wouldn't mind if your videos were an hour long. Don't feel rushed! Also, I'd love it if you would make more "How-to Chibi" videos.
