at one point everybody is going to have to die but if you believe and trust god he could take you with him at home which is heaven
Belief is subjective and can also be in the wrong thing. Trust is important without taking God for granted. What is ultimately needed with trust is humility and repentance, putting everything into God's hands. That's why we have funerals when people die (BTW - not "celebrations of life"). We gather to worship God and to humbly and prayerfully intercede for His mercy on behalf of the deceased.

Father Nicholas, I know only the Father knows the time of the end of the world but do you feel that the signs that we have seen in the heavens gives us a hint that we are living in the end days. Plus the wars,rumors of wars, the social changes,the lack of moral convictions,increased violence of man against man, what’s been happening in Israel,etc..God tells us that it will be like in the days of Noah. I believe we are there. I know we shouldn’t dwell on it but we should also not sleep.
One talk I have given regularly, but not as a part of this series, is on the words of Jesus regarding the end times. One thing Jesus says, repeatedly, even with regard to wars and rumors of wars, social changes, lack of moral convictions, violence is that it is NOT the end. We should stay awake, but Jesus reassures us that people will come saying "I am he" or "the time is here" or "there" but he says three times in that discourse "do NOT listen to them."
Yes there are the events of the current period, but we cannot discount the direction of the Fifth Lateran Council that we are NOT to use the scriptures as a means of predicting the end, nor do we need to take seriously, nor are we bound to believe any predictions of the end as based on the Scriptures, or on any current social or cosmic phenomenon.
In short, yes there are "signs" that we see in the current era, but we are NOT to interpret them as signs of the end.
Father,thank you for responding. I’ve been a Catholic all my life. The reason I wonder is I hear it said in Mass that we are in the end times. I know you had said in your video that the end times began after Jesus’s cruxifixction. I have just never heard it pointed out by my priest until a few years ago. Can you tell me which video I can watch in which you discuss it. I just recently started you watch your videos which I really enjoy. Thank you

That we are all one heartbeat, one breath away from our own “end time” is a guarantee. If eternal happiness hangs in the balance wouldn’t our time be best spent making sure we are ready for our own deaths? I’ve never understood the preoccupation with knowing when the world will “collectively” end.
Do u think we’re in the end times right now with everything going on in the current world? I suffer from major anxiety on this topic

This is false doctrine, Jesus returned to the 1st. Century generation, just as he said he would. The new testament is about the time of his death and resurrection to him telling his deciples that they would not all die before he comes back in their generation. Verily he told them that they would not make it through all the cities of Israel before he came back.its time to start understanding this you need to know where you are in God now.the bridge was made new to God again.❤
