I've got a better answer for you next time Miss Heather asks why you want another one of a particular model. Say you want to build it in another color someday! 😉😃
Truthfully, that's the reason I buy more than one. I tell myself that's why, anyway. lol
Lol!!
Man I miss, Tenax-7R. space age plastic welder - glue. 😢
You're lucky if you can get any kit here in Europe for 18$
The Firebird was a Revell kit originally. The John Travolta model was based on it. Also, the same body was used for the Camaro, too, back when the molds were new, and they used real rubbery rubber tires lol!
I thought it looked familiar.
Cool!
I’d definitely buy some of those wheels if you make them 😎 , all of your printed parts I’ve bought have been great , thanks 👍🏻
Thanks Chester! I'll get them on the site asap!
I build semi trucks and semi trailer
Nice haul Matthew 👍 That 70 Roadrunner kit saved me and i was able to join into my first USACC group build. I also participated in last year's USACC group build with the Monogram 55 Ford. Both builds turned out awesome 👍😎
👍🏻👍🏻 Yeah it saved a lot of people's wallets!
You really did score some cool stuff. Love the 79 Firebird and the Plymouth is pretty wild, Love the exhaust!!
Thanks Ed!
Nice haul Matthew. That little Jaguar looks like it would be a fun short build. I'm amazed at how well it stood up to time. Your Roadrunner looks great! I'd love to try MCW paints but living in an apartment I have to stick with alcohol based paints so I don't stink the place up. I've found Mr Hobby's Aqueous paints to be the best option for me. It lays down very close to their lacquer paints. I'll be visiting Hobby Nut soon to restock my Green Stuff World Chrome. I'll be picking up some of that UV resin glue too. 👍👍
Thanks Tom! Yeah it's got a really strong smell for sure!
Nice paint and supplies added to the shop. You can never have enough paint. Cool stash adds. I really hate the show in Clemmons has been cancelled. I was looking forward to going as well. Hopefully, they will find a new venue for next year. The next show I have on my calendar is the show at Salem Civic Carter in Roanoke. I may try to attend the upcoming show in South Carolina, but it is 4 1/2 hours away from me. Just a little too far to venture in one day.
I would go head and put those Chrysler wheels on your list of products. Something I would like to see is a 3D printed air conditioner compressor, and a power steering pump. I’ve been looking for those two items and cannot find them anywhere. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Michael! I'll have to try and find those 2 items.
LOL! I was doing the same thing with a missing wooden dowel out of a Chinese furniture kit. I found a big hunk of sprue that was just a little bit too big. I chucked that plastic up and started to whittle on it. I was putting the chamfer on one end when it snatched the hobby knife out of my hand and tossed it like a dart into the top of my leg about an inch above my knee.
I just sat there and looked at it wondering just how should I pull it out.
Hmmm.
Just go for it.
I keep paper towels handy so I made a pad out of a sheet and got ready.
Man did that thing bleed! My wife saw it and thought total amputation but I pulled the towel off and she said, "Where?"
"OH S*IT!"
I spent the rest of the night with my leg up on a stool and by morning it had knitted closed to the point it just wept and a bandage handled it.
I'm sitting here looking at the scar.
Beware of improvised hobby lathes....
Cheers
Terry
Ouch!!!!
Nice 😅
Lacquer Thinner, is the same as Tamiya extra thin. That’s the answer, finescale model did a video about it to prove the point
Really?? I didn't know that
1/16 scale 440 six pack engine. print those wheels and tires, Please
👍🏻👍🏻
Absolutely interested in those Mopar Rallye Wheels!
I'll get them on the site soon!
It's called an Air Grabber on the Road Runner and there's a switch under the dash to open it with vacuum.
👍🏻👍🏻
Nice adds Matt, Road Runner looks nice 👍
Thanks David!!
That Firebird kit is the old Revell tooling.
Is that the old John Travolta Firebird kit from waaaay back in the day?
@@JDsHouseofHobbies I think so.
👍🏻👍🏻
You could get the Extra Thin in bigger bottles. Tamiya's Airbrush Cleaner is the same stuff. Much cheaper.
Really?? The airbrush cleaner is the same?
@@modelcarvideos5829 According to Tamiya's safety data sheets.
Airbrush Cleaner is 51% Acetone and 49% n-Butylacetate.
Extra Thin is 50% Acetone and 50% n-Butylacetate.
Extra Thin (Quick setting) is 40% Acetone, 40% Ethylacetat and 20% MEK.
Just got my first order from hobbynut today .
👍🏻👍🏻
I'm been looking for a semi trailer

Nice of your mom to pick up those kits and gift them to you Matt. Great stash haul. Your 3D printed parts look so clean and detailed. I too found some bargains last week at Hobby Lobby. Enjoy your week.
Thanks Chris!
Great stash Matt. Just to let you know, To save some money on Tamiya glue you can use Tamiya air brush cleaner. it is the same stuff if you look on the back of the bottles. Tamiya air brush cleaner is 250 ml bottle. That's what I use for my glue.
Too cool!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Great gift and haul!!
Thanks Johnny!
Yes love see those rally wheels. Nice haul u got .
I'll have them on the site soon!
