Utah Phillips who wrote this great folksong, 40-50 years ago had a fifteen minute radio show. Music and talking about what he had done in his life. He said that he was the last of the Wobblies. These three do it perfectly. Great musicians.
Only just discovered these very talented ladies two days ago.real talent, not like the manufactured rubbish on these so called talent shows.I`m really enjoying these videos.
Just when I‘m sure Sarah Jarosz is the best songwriter and vocalist of the three, Ms Watkins goes and does songs like this. I wish there were scores more and not just a handful.
so glad there's a good quality version of this on UA-cam! I used to listen to the version off the prarie home companion website from 2015. really appreciate this being up!
Me. too, Lloyd...I heard this while on the road, listening to PHC. I am so pleased to find this. Sarah and Sara and Aoife - and especially Utah - THANK YOU. This is, hands down, the most perfect rendition to a long held favorite, one that brings back cherished memories of a beautiful person...
I’ll second that comment, but wish that these lady’s will spend some time to come to Europe and perform in Rotterdam in the Netherlands among other places. These voices are too beautiful not to be heard on this side off the Atlantic Ocean.
You mean RUINING them! I stopped listening to the show because of his awful singing. And how rude - forcing yourself on the bands. (OK, I could hardly hear him. But I have, in the past! RUDE!)
I was in a perfect state of mind, driving home from wood carving. Listening to this beautiful music 🎶

-I'm With Her really did this Utah Phillips song beautifully. I think he would approve.
Beautiful, Just Beautiful. Brought Tears to my eyes. Swear to God! I love you all
May God bless you. Thank you again for this Beautiful Song
This channel is God's work
Glad to see PHC is still celebrated. So much great music delivered thanks to the vision of Garrison Keillor.
I didn't think I could like this one any more... and then I realized it was written by Utah Phillips (RIP). :)
Utah Philips, labor organizer, folk singer, hobo. They used to call him "The Golden Voice of the SouthWest".
Angels among us.
Stunning!
So harmonious, lovely, and gracious. Gems! American treasures.
I adore these three ladies together. We need an album and a tour, please. You can stay at our house when you come through PA. I'll make pancakes.
Can't believe they have resisted that offer!! sweet.

Loves d this song back in the 1960s when Rosalie Sorrels did it. The ladies really got it perfect!
I just heard that version for the first time a few months ago on Eric Walter's "Wide Ear Folk" radio show. So good.
Heartfelt and lovely. Pure alchemy.
too gorgeous for words. thank you girls & Keller.
Who is Keller?

There's another version with Garrison singing harmony.
Just beautiful!
Awesome!

Garrison just can't resist joining the sweet harmonies.

At least you couldn't hear him

Can't find this folkcana. Not much anymore. Most people have no idea who wrote this gem
No hi ha res millor: Harmonies vocals i molt de talent. Escolteu aquestes al·lotes i arribareu al cel.
Are you touring? If so, where?
Who’s the drunk old geezer that stumbled in off the street and thought inserting himself would “make it even better”?
I'm sorry folks but man is Garrison creepy in this video. He did some really good work but what a weird dude
GK gives me the creeps!
Eek! Stay away, Garrison!
