It seemed a few of the community was looking after him, at least. I don't know about his home life outside of our time filming with him years ago.

His muscles were so huge and he had such an intimidating facial expression. I think he was in the Memphis territory at the time. Anyways, when I saw him on WWF Tv with Ted Dibiase as Virgil, I immediately thought that's Soul Train Jones! I was very disappointed they renamed him and made him a bodyguard. When he eventually left Dibiase I was hoping he would go back to his original gimmick but they put him in those white and red striped pants and he would be smiling, bouncing to the ring with a smile on his face high fiving the fans. He should have been an intense no nonsense babyface wanting revenge on all of the heels who mistreated him when he was Dibiase's bodyguard. He lost to Bret Hart on Wrestling Superstars when he was on his first run as WWF champion and then we barely got to see him after that. Michael Jones deserved at least one big WWF push.
