Wat een heerlijke motor om te zien. Ga zeker proefrijden zodra we over 6 weken in Portugal wonen. De CF 450 MT is zeker een gedogen tegenstander maar qua looks kies ik zonder twijfel voor de Himalayan. Je zei trouwens 74HP maar ik denk dat je 47 bedoelde? Het is trouwens 40.
I drove this bike until last week 1400 km through the indian highlands of ladakh and I don't like the engine. At low speeds the engine lacks torque and the first gears are too long. This is why I stalled the engine countless times in the beginning and it feels unreasonable to keep the engine running at high RPM all the time. When driving serpentines uphill, you have to shift into first gear, because until 4000 revs the bike is a lame duck. I prefer the old Himalian in regards to the power delivery, but I don't blame Royal Enfield for it, because by the emission standards are all new engines somehow handicapped.
I've watched many vids of this bike through the Himalayas and everywhere else, including Itchy Boots and no one really mentions this stalling problem. You just need to adjust...IMHO
For me, since I love efficiency, what pushes makes the RE better is fuel economy, the CF moto is an absolutely brilliant bike, but the fuel economy is atrocious for the engine size
@@droommotor CFMOTO TAKES AROUND 7 LITRE FOR 100 KM. RE TAKES LESS THAN 3.5 LITRE. AFTER RIDING 120000 KMS YOU WILL SAVE MONEY SAME AS A PRICE OF CF MOTO🤫
@@manish5209mk Only have 500 miles on my new RE and the display shows 99.9mpg and this 100mpg = 35.4006 km per litre (E5 99 octane being used)and the engine does get better once the running in is completed. 500km - 4000rpm max and now I have 6000 rpm until 2000 km, also have the best colour (Hanle Black, tubeless gold wheels!)
Come on… In depth review. You don’t know how much HP it has, 74! I wish. Errors when changing modes, you have to be stationary or you get the errors. You don’t know if you have Tube or Tubeless. Spend 5 mins on the Net to educate yourself before delivering poor info to viewers.
It’s a really good bike. RE has been producing bangers
Absolutely!
Nice video mate, 10/10 would buy

Ik bedoelde inderdaad 47! Maar inderdaad het is 40!
40 bhp
40 nm torque
Thank you!

@@timeaftertime3563 Indeed. I've not had any stalling problems with mine. Plenty of torque where it is needed.
Learn to ride! I have 4,000 miles on mine, never stalled. Not one of the many many reviews have ever mentioned stalling.
@@idontwantahandle12345 I would also suggest, learn why motorcycles have gearboxes. 😁
3:41 Sorry, but 1.63 cms that's smaller than a liliput 😂. Maybe you said 163 cms, it sounded funny though 😂
Hahah that would be an achievement!
🤣🤣🤣
Nice review. Competition: CFMOTO 450mt.
In terms of performance I think the CFmoto is better. But in terms of looks defintely the RE

After looking at both, there was no competition for me. Also, the CF Moto support in my country cannot hold a candle to RE.

I mispoke. English is not my native language I meant 47
@@droommotor it’s 40!
@@idontwantahandle12345 I stand corrected!
