Bruh 9/10 of EVERY Eldar died when they heard that scream in the beginning could you imagine living life and then that sound shatters your ears as you watch everyone around you fall dead to the floor
The Eldari being gf to Gulliman is pure heresy and unreal . However I do have a proposal; Eldari Elf Princess during a 30k has a fatal crush on Sanguinous. Tried to salvage Sanguinous soul using soul stones and used it to resurrect the Blood Angels Primarch via a child. Half Eldar/half human Primarch might be heresy but would be insanely powerful and if used correctedly by the more rational Eldari allied with Gullimans more enlightment Imperium, might just whats needed.
A half eldar/half human primarch would probably be hated by both empires. Even if Guilliman approved, there's no way the rest of the Imperium would and they wouldn't just fall in line because it's him. It'd turn into another civil war or a split between the Inquisition, the Ecclesiarchy, and the Ultramarines. I don't think, even if he was okay with it, he'd ever voice that knowing where the Empire is now. And as much as I like the idea of shipping him with some Eldari pootang, there's no way that sort of relationship would EVER be approved publicly. It would be absolutely insane and ruinous for either of them to embrace that, though I could see such a thing happening in secret or behind closed doors with rumors abounding that no one states openly for fear of getting murdered. Hell, I could practically imagine those sorts of rumors happening even if they weren't even remotely interested in each other just because Guilliman has his life owed to him by Yvraine and occasionally may talk on a diplomatic level with her.
So it took pretty much an entire interstellar empire to create Slaanesh, while the other three Chaos Gods came to being because of Medieval Age humans...what?
You have to understand, the "largest" faction, the asuryani were just seen as hippies amongst the other aeldari, the exodites are seen as amish people, the only original aeldari from the crone worlds left after the birth of slaanesh are the drukhari. Even the most debauched of humanity is nothing to the amount of depravity the eldar commits on daily basis back then.
Exodites aren't really worth mentioning in a cutscene about galactic powers. They live in relatively small numbers on distant worlds and don't leave (with exception to the few Craftworlds that may house Exodites that were evacuated from doomed worlds).
Heh... chances are, Spire has helped them. Though his actions in this case will be completely understandable, because Inquisitor Emil Darkhammer is absolutely insufferable and did far more damage to the Imperium with his witch hunts, than Ynnari. Stopping him was a matter of helping the Imperium.
Hmmm. A human who lived a thousand years without rejuvenation it augmentation. Nothing suss here. Like a tech priest working on a project forbidden by imperial and mechanicum edict for 10k years on a planet visited by chaos and necrons, yet managed to remain conceal, even with a c’tan on the same planet. After the Emp not being able to conceal the Primarch project on terra from chaos. Please.
Not really, mostly because the Eldar are so limited in such a chaotic galaxy as Warhammer, it would actually be very bad for them to consolidate all of their people onto a handful of unmovable planets, rather than the mobile craft worlds. Keep in mind, the craft worlds are designed to basically be perfect world for the Eldar, and have everything they need to survive. Combine this with the fact that most planets in 40k are either barren, filled with hostile life forms/environments, already been colonized by someone else, or corrupted/have the potential to be corrupted by chaos, and staying on the craft-world starts to seem like a pretty good idea.
so... tell me if i got this right... either the dark eldar are basically eldar that went "alright, slenesh is kinda cool" or in trying to be as far away from it as possible, they accidentally ended up serving "it" i am new, so can someone who knows more please explain?
The aeldari species sank so far into excess and insane hedonism/sadomaschism/ other sensation-obsessed behavior that the sheer amount of it made an evil happen. The Craftworld Eldar saw this coming and fled the center of their empire, adopting the philosophies they live by now. The Dark Eldar went "What if we hid in the Webway so we could DO MORE OF IT" and then did that. The Dark Eldar are thus an accurate snapshot of what the Eldar empire was just before its fall, except they've atrophied their psychic abilities to near nothing (which also helps keep them safe from the hellgod that wants to eat all of their species specifically).

Leaving aside how 40k as a setting doesn't understand numbers or the consumption of resources in general, all of Dark Eldar society is basically stuck living out the hell scenes from Event Horizon as hard as they can out of constant terror of what happens if they stop.
a major problem with the dark eldar: their only salvation is to not die, but no matter how depraved or wicked they may be, they still will die eventually. And when they do, only Slaanesh awaits them. the Craftworld Eldar are not so concerned with their mortal lives, but rather with the salvation of their immortal soul.
@@lenkagamine4145 immortal till they need wraithguard/seer who are risking true death and are sent against most dangerous foes.
@@jexx2974 Well, wraithguards arent in any more danger than regular eldar guardians are during combat. as long as the eldar win the day, the spirit stones will be recovered, whether from dead eldar or wraithguard.
On those occassions they cannot recover the spirit stones, all eldar- undead or not- suffer damnation. But at least they have a pretty decent chance of recovery and safety from Slaanesh's grasp.

Ffs, why was there never made an eldar campaign? It would be perfect. 3 different fleet options, interesting new characters. like, cmon.
I would absolutely love an eldar focused game or DLC for Armada 2, yeah (and no, Dawn of Eldar doesn't count)
There arent even new eldar models since the 80s... so theres not much to expect from any games or campaings any time soon
It because the Speec Mehrines are GWs poster boy. Eldar are like, the bottom of the barrel. Its always been like that for any multi-race franchise. Elves always get the short end of the stick.
Can insect make human campaign?
Oh cool! I was confused by the ship designs of the craftworld Eldar during the Beta videos, as they looked so different from the Eldar Ships in Gothic Armada 1. But this intro explains everything! That GA1's Eldar were strictly Corsairs :D
Guys, guys! I have wonderful idea! *- Lest made second Slaanesh who will eat our souls, to defeat first Slaanesh who eat our souls!*

Or venerate the blood god. Defeat pansy god
To be fair the second one seems to at least respect the life and death cycles.
@@ThatGuyUpThere Given that Ynnead is pretty explicitly a *preserver* of souls, and the end result of aeldari who die under his provenance is an amalgamate entity instead of a ravening destroyer...yes?

I'd never really looked at the eyes of terror, it was there I understood it's location I got what it was. Not until right now did I see that it had 8 heads (tails? Really is it so hard to look at their lore instead of just stopping at "Slaanesh"?
Its a shame we didn't actually get an Aeldari campaign. Weird that we got a Tyranid one and not an Aeldari one mostly because it wasn't even really a campaign it was just a slaughter xD
Its interesting to think of sensation as a recouse in eldar culture. One that they can spare or spare not, depending on their individual state of soul.
As long as Gilly Billy can keep the horny space elves in line, keep their guns pointed at Humanity’s foes instead, then it’s all good.

Her voice is pretty damn good. It would have deserved a full series of videos on 40K lore.
Half Eldar/half human Primarch might be heresy but would be insanely powerful and if used correctedly by the more rational Eldari allied with Gullimans more enlightment Imperium, might just whats needed.
look gully made it clear the emperor does not acutely give a shit
@@citizenbane1991 Why you think Big E did that human webway project in the first place. Three words. Everyoung Eldar Boobies.
I want Aeldary campaign. Who else wants it?

You have to understand, the "largest" faction, the asuryani were just seen as hippies amongst the other aeldari, the exodites are seen as amish people, the only original aeldari from the crone worlds left after the birth of slaanesh are the drukhari.
Even the most debauched of humanity is nothing to the amount of depravity the eldar commits on daily basis back then.
We dream of restored empire....perhaps there is still time...
Man that scream at the start just makes my skin crawl everytime
Odd that it mentioned the Corsairs but failed to mention Harlequins and Exodites. Other than that this is such a dope video.
Probably would've made the cutscene a bit bloated, so they limited the presentation to the factions that had different ships.
Exodites aren't really worth mentioning in a cutscene about galactic powers. They live in relatively small numbers on distant worlds and don't leave (with exception to the few Craftworlds that may house Exodites that were evacuated from doomed worlds).
I'm definitely gonna play them, that was dope!

This Xenos cant do anything For that Admiral Spire is back
Heh... chances are, Spire has helped them.

They lived where the eye of terror formed?
Yes, the Eldar homeworlds were within the eye of terror.
Godam elves always wrecking everything.....40k, WoW, DnD sheesh
the elder scrolls
If they're species is dying out, wouldn't this be a good time to consider seeking out a fresh new planet to colonise and settle upon?

Behold the Children of the Stars
so... tell me if i got this right... either the dark eldar are basically eldar that went "alright, slenesh is kinda cool"
or in trying to be as far away from it as possible, they accidentally ended up serving "it"
i am new, so can someone who knows more please explain?
The aeldari species sank so far into excess and insane hedonism/sadomaschism/ other sensation-obsessed behavior that the sheer amount of it made an evil happen.
The Craftworld Eldar saw this coming and fled the center of their empire, adopting the philosophies they live by now. The Dark Eldar went "What if we hid in the Webway so we could DO MORE OF IT" and then did that.
The Dark Eldar are thus an accurate snapshot of what the Eldar empire was just before its fall, except they've atrophied their psychic abilities to near nothing (which also helps keep them safe from the hellgod that wants to eat all of their species specifically).
just to add on to Pyre's response: the dark eldar certainly do not think slaanesh is cool. THey absolutely hate and fear slaanesh.
@ChalterMasterValrak where can we find this cinematic? Imperial or Necrons campaign? Do you think it would make sense lore-wise to have an elder campaign where we can control all 3 eldar factions just like in the imperium campaign?
