The beta has been like the most fun I've had playing with people in a long time. The core gameplay is really solid, and I hope the game continues to evolve with new modes and such.
I really appreciate your honest thoughts in this video. I’ve been a Crash fan since the first game in 1996, and Crash Team Racing is one of my favorite games of all-time to this day, but I have no interest in CT: Rumble. I’m not a multiplayer gamer to begin with, but this type of gameplay just doesn’t look appealing to me, especially for $30.
Yes, I won't be playing this until it either goes FTP or it adds modes you can play offline. I've heard one person say this should've been the multiplayer mode in Crash 4 IAT, which I honestly agree. But yeah, I was very disappointed to see that the game would be online only and still charging money to play it. Hope the game will go FTP soon.
I'm glad we actually got to see what the game was actually about because it felt like the marketing was: "Hey we got a new thing coming out!" Ok, what's it about? "uhh... well, it's coming out!" Ok but that doesn't quite answer our question "It's coming out guys!" ??? Like I deadass thought this was just gonna be the new take on Crash Bash.
I played the beta and had a lot of fun with it and yes it's just the one mode of gameplay, however it seems Toys For Bob is looking into other game modes for CTRumble including possibly classic death match and capture the flag, as well as Single Player content of sorts and that is according to the survey us beta players got to participate in after the beta, also I do agree with Shemp on CTRumble getting a physical release at least in the brawler's current state being a waste of time due to the lack of solo content to make it worth it's salt, maybe somewhere down the line where the game has plenty of solo content to make it worth it, maybe treat it like a special edition that bundles a bunch of content embedded on the disc. Also for Multiplayer games that have charged 30 dollars or so instead of being free, Dead by Daylight does the same thing and does well for itself, who's to say Crash might as well, if not go the Fall Guys route and make it free to play with a little reward for those who payed.
The difference with the fall guys comparison is that in that game the battle pass and cosmetics were 100% free to obtain. They started charging for battle passes and costumes once it became free to play. I would have been fine paying for CTRB if I knew it would work like that too.
I probably will only get this if it becomes F2P, from playing the beta (thank you for that code G 😎) it seems like a game I can only play for a few hours before doing something else, unless I played with friends, which was something I didn't have for this lol, depending how they handle the deposit of content into the game, I can imagine it lasting a while maybe, it really does depend. When my boy spyro is in, that's whom I'll main, maybe he'll make me buy it if I have to🔥 I had some fun though, it has potential, I think
I've said before that Crash is now Activision's Mario. So they're gonna treat him like it. Spyro is kind of getting pushed as a side character for Crash games.
I thought the game was fun. I really enjoyed the gameplay of it, even though, there are some players who are really good which is frustrating sometimes. I agree that there should be an offline mode such as a single player mode and a story mode. The issue I have with the game is the matchmaking. I’m paired up with players that has a higher level than me which it seems unfair for new players. There should be a matchmaking system when the players plays with others with the same level. Another thing that progression is sometimes grindy and Dingodile is really hard to go up the platforms.
Not a fan of entitlement. The game is selling hard despite all the bad reception and bad starts already, and the beta tells you front and center it's nowhere near the amount of content we're getting at release. Let it be and support it while we have it.

this game isn't gonna last. i'm really glad this kind of shit isn't happening to spyro, crash has become activision's guinea pig

@@ShempOfficial Ok that's way too high, let's not compare an alive IP like Mario to whatever Crash has become now.
