There is no license required to do roofing in UK? If there is, I guess the folks who pay cash to guys for a non licensed job are pretty foolish. If you ARE required to have a license, it would be easy enough to have the licensed folks and their contact information on a gov website. If they commit fraud, remove their license and their name from the site. Why is this difficult?
