I have ADHD and I had what I like to call a "bad brain day" yesterday. I had the hardest time focusing on reading my Bible, so I decided to put a bookmark in the book I was reading (Proverbs) & start reading the book of Romans for the first time ever instead and guess what? My pastor preached his whole sermon this morning on the EXACT verses I read and studied last night. Romans 5:1-9. Now I'm like.. Okay, God, what are you trying to show and teach me?! LOL. His word is SO alive! It's genuinely so amazing.

its really late in the night when i watched this, but while i was watching this, the EXACT verse that ash posted in the start of the vid (2 Tim. 1:7) appeared in my pinterest! God was definitely speaking to me through that verse.
truth be told, i felt so distant from Him cause i was so distracted and i didn't feel like reading the bible to early in the morning that i felt afraid of coming to Him out of guilt and embarrassment. tomorrow is the start of a lil school break (im homeschooled) and i decided to use that break to give more time to the Lord. and such perfect timing! ash posted a new vid, and now i'm more willing to start the week strong! (though its like 12am-)

I’ve had about 3 nightmares I can think of where I was facing someone or something very evil that made me afraid. In all 3 of them I declared Jesus’ name out loud and prayed that the bad situation would end. In one of them I even sang a hymn, and in none of the dreams was I ever harmed. The evil people backed away from me and left, and the nightmares ended. I’m so thankful that God it’s always there for us - even while we’re sleeping!
I remember having a terrible dream a few times, praying that it was just a dream and then I woke up and was very grateful 🙏🏻

I love Blue Letter Bible! It’s very helpful to get another perspective on what I am reading:) I also got the Joy of the in between for my birthday and it really is crazy how God’s word is so alive! Ashley, can you make an upload about peace when your family isn’t Christian? My parents don’t really believe in God and it sometimes makes me feel upset. My great grandparents prayed and sang in tongues over me when I was a little kid, and now we love talking about Jesus, but I sometimes fear for my parents eternity. Thank you❤

I have been trying to grow my relationship with the Lord and you have literally been covering so many questions I have been asking. You are so important. Ashley, I can't tell you how much comfort and strength I've had from watching all of your different videos! I enjoy the ones from your car, on your walks and just sitting outside! I accepted the Lord when I was 9 but of course, rebelled and stayed away from my Lord for several years in my 20's and 30's. Oh, how i regret that now! The Father is so loving and because of your videos, the Holy Spirit has guided me immensely! It's strange that I have trouble reading ANY other book! My mind wanders, even with Christian books. BUT, the Holy Spirit wabts me to read Only devotionals and my precious Bible! I can spend ALL day reading both of them and I always hate to close my Bible now!!!! Amen!
I'm going to be separating from my husband in October and moving back to PA. He wasn't saved when we first married and there's been emotional and verbal abuse, intimidation, narcissistic controlling and I'm just tired of it. We love each other but know we can't live together. I gave peace over this and have discussed it with my Pastor. I want to serve my Lord and just be me! I look forward to watching all of your videos and learning more of my Father! I hope to meet you one day! If not, I'll meet you and Ally in Heaven one day!

Hi Ashley! I love your videos so much, you’ve taught me so much. One thing I have to say is that in the video you said you read the TPT version. I just wanted to let you know that that version might not the be the best since it does leave out some books (for example Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, and Leviticus) and it was written by Brian Simmons who claimed that Jesus came to him to tell him to write his own version. You should try and research it for yourself and pray about it. If you happen to read this comment then you should pray and ask if what I say is correct. 🌟Ok the fact I’m literally not lying, I had a dream last night where my cat got shot he was bleeding and I prayed to God for help and to heal him and he was healed and than I just see this video the next day and Ally has the exact similar dream as me. God is so intentional wow

Waiting together on the Lord.
Really need prayer rn! I broke up with my boyfriend back in April but we’re both apart of the same Church and long story short, I feel very isolated within the Church. I met with my pastor and my friend but I feel unheard still as idk what I think/feel anymore and I feel very lonely atm. God’s revealed to me that I will go back to the Church (as I’ve stepped back during this time) but I’m struggling to heal/forgive but I really want to. Any prayers would be greatly appreciated! I know that I'm not the only one who felt like this. like I'm talkative before, but now I'm senior high, and I can't even express my own feelings, and I talk less. I really don't understand if what's going on. I lost my confidence, like in one snap. I'm always alone in the school, and this is awkward, walking alone, eating alone, I just felt like woah, this is not like I used to be. I felt invisible, I couldn't talk to someone like I'm a stranger.
My old classmates ask me why am I alone there and I can't answer them honestly.
Even though I felt like this, I don't wanna lose my faith and be lost.
I know that I'm not totally alone.
But may the Lord help me to remove this shyness inside of me and for being afraid to express myself. "BE YOURSELF" , That's the words that I always use to share.
If this is a plan of God, then I will accept this.

In some times, just going on a walk and talking to God, is a lot easier said than done. Praying for everyone going through a season of unbelief out there.
