Tim's just the most relatable robin, and in my book, that makes him the best. He has the best character in my opinion, and perfectly contrasts Batman's personality, even better than Dick's personality did.
He's the best Robin for me. His motivation had been his empathy. He just wanted to help. He didn't become a hero for vengeance or righteousness or glory of because of a tragedy. (No. That came later for him.) (But seriously though, why can't anyone find a none awkward hero name for him. Red Robin is the most preferred but maybe they could change it for another.)
when it comes to the robins, Tim and Jason are as close as Dick and Damien, there's a mutual understanding between the two... Tim is actually the one who didn't give up on Jason, and continued to believe that he would come back to their side of things... and he did... sort of... so despite Jason's rough tough attitude and the constant trying to "kill" him... Tim sometimes (not always) relies on Jason more than Dick when it comes to needing a brother
Only in the new 52 tho. In the pre 52 Jason was more or less a bad guy and Tim had an awesome brotherly relationship with Dick. I like that Tim and Jason are close in the new 52 but I hate how they removed the relationship he had with Dick...
milo if you couldn’t tell by the setting something really terrible must have happened to make Tim so upset that he needs Jason. And Jason and Tim are really close as brothers if you didn’t know in the Red Hood and The Outlaws Tim is DEAD and Jason wished he had him there with him
@@Zeroblade57 I think they've fixed Dick and Tim's relationship in Rebirth, though I don't think it was bad in the New 52, it was just not as highlighted as it once was. A little before Rebirth, in the Grayson comics, we saw flashbacks to Dick's relationship with both Tim and Jason and they all seemed like they really loved each other as brothers. There was also a Nightwing comic where we learn that Tim hacked some info for Dick so he could try to track down Tony Zucco, the man who killed his parents. Dick could have gone to Barbara, (or do it himself if the writers would have remembered that Dick is capable of hacking even if he's not the best at it in the Batfam), if he and Tim didn't have a good relationship, but he didn't go to Barbara for help, he went to Tim. In Rebirth, when Tim "dies", before he does, he tells Bruce to tell his family how much he cared about and loved them, listing Dick, Jason, Damian, and Alfred. I think the reboot and then Rebirth has allowed all the Robins to become closer to each other, whereas before Jason hated just about all of them, (though Dick still cared about Jason and I think they had a brotherly relationship before Jason died), Damian loved Dick but hated Tim and didn't like Jason either, Tim loved Dick, but didn't like Jason since he tried to kill him and didn't like Damian for similar reasons plus Damian was a brat and stole Robin from him, and then Dick just loved everybody even if he wasn't loved back.
