Thank you for this quick video..it really helped! I have a plantar plate tear and I was looking for shows that could help!
No worries, glad it was helpful.
Do you have any video showing how to do the toe exercises with the bands you recommend? I also want to thank you as well for sharing information about this issue, It's been very difficult to find any recovery or even information beyond the basics about a plate tear.
No worries at all.
We have a play list that includes the exercise videos.

Hi there! Thank you for this video. I’ve recently injured my plantar plate and have been struggling to get a proper treatment plan from the doctors I have seen. Would you normally recommend an aircast (cam) walking boot and crutches for a tear + no weight bear for a period of time? I am finding the aircast boot quite uncomfortable as it seems to put pressure on the injured area, as well as my toe which I have taped in place.
Many thanks for the comment Alyssa. Sorry to hear about the injury. It depends on the person and symptoms. Normally we find rocker shoe and tape is enough to reduce pain. However you can use a. Aircast boot. The key thing is to get a plan. Let me know if we can help out. Thanks Nick
Did this ever resolve for you. In a boot now to reduce compression and tensity stress
