  • Story Time with the DIWhy Guy, in 2010 I sold my home built gtst r32 skyline as I was driving like a idiot and was sure I was going to crash it so I went back to old school cars I ended up getting this 1980 Toyota Corona TT133 for $700 and fixed it up and used it as a daily driver for about 5 years before parking it up to go on my OE to the UK...

This was my family car that eventually became mine. We all miss that car.

Overall, it's a better course of action for the climate than buying a new car. Congrats, mate!

With the amount of EVs catching fire and the unrecyclable slave labour batterys I think your 100% right about that one mate 😉

    how did lower the car?

Hi mate so i actually made the car higher when i got it it had no springs what we call bumpys in New Zealand i add racing spring with a low profile to get it where it was if you want it even lower get super lows a springs like a King Spring and you'll also need shortened shocks. you will need spring compressors to collapse the spring so you can undo the bolts without everything flying apart at the speed of sound ;)
