Has anyone else noticed that Jay and Nya's relationship has become healthy, open, and joyful after the overcame the obnoxious love triangle? Now they have become more friendly and supportive of each other without being possessive
I actually never cared for this ship in the beginning since it felt random, but it's because of Skybound, moments throughout S8-10, and Seabound that their relationship started to feel more fleshed out and now I freaking adore them XD
I agree that Jaya feels more random in the earlier seasons, but I think makes some sense. They were kids at the time. Their love isn't going to be that deep or complex. And like you said- Skybound onward provided some fleshing out that made their relationship feel deeper and more mature. :)
Jay and Nya quickly became one of my favorite couples. I hated the time they were broken up but glad that while Skybound was paradox'd out of existence at least their memories that got them back together remained. I caught a few episodes of the new season after the Seabound arc, and it looks like Nya is trying to return to being human again. I wish I had watched more before LEGO took the episodes down.
They aren't going to end this show with Nya being lost to the sea forever, there's no way. Ninjago's just not that type of show man, they always give characters happy and complete endings which is something I love about it. Jay and Nya, will be reunited in a permanent way before the series is over, I practically guarantee it.
5:37 I love that the rest of the ninja are out of their fighting stances and listening to Jay propose to Nya. I can tell you this much, Kai definitely inspired Jay to propose to Nya like this, until he lost her in Seabound.💙⚡️
