Shoutout to Wood for having anxiety about the travels and doing the travels anyway. Had to get on a plane to Canada from Australia having had chronic anxiety and never taken an OS flight. Was so glad I did it, but people who don’t get anxiety will never understand what it takes to face that fear.
I know man 90% of my nightmares are just being on planes and i literally feel anxiety in my sleep. Have been on plenty of planes when i was younger but now i cant picture getting on one 😭
Everyone has anxiety at some point in their lives. It’s just a part of life
I found this building on Google Maps before it was a hotel last time I visited Japan. I took photos of the outside plaques but there wasn't a lot else to see. This is amazing

Started learning Japanese a few months ago thanks to Wood preparing for this trip and talking about it on a stream. So glad to see y'all get there and have an excellent time! Excited to hear you reflect on the whole trip once you're back. And thanks for nudging me to learn, I hope to visit there myself in the next year or so.

I wanna visit Japan so bad. The atmosphere that people portray in their videos is amazing. A little worried about flying but mainly worried about going alone for the first time and not knowing any Japanese 😅
Glitch Coffee is good. Kyoto has a good cafe called Kurasu near Kyoto Station. Osaka has Lilo Coffee Roasters near America town
The timing is so funny to me, I just stayed in this hotel one month ago while I was in Kyoto! The service was absolutely amazing, although I have to say, this is too expensive and too fancy for what a normal human being would ever need. I prefer cheaper, more modest hotels. I simply had to stay there to contemplate the history of Nintendo before they even started to make video games.

That Mew card with the crystals is most likely done by artist Daniel Arsham. Idk if that specific one is an original or a copy or whatever but he does a lot of different sculptures like that. His instagram is pretty sweet.

You don't need to be connected for gamepass games, just make your ROG your primary PC. You can only change this 2 per year.
I heard one of the best times to go to japan is christmas time they do tons of stuff and people I guess do not travel there normally during the winter more like xmas season time
The downside is the locals have a long New Years break, many places are closed for a few days around and after New Years eve
