As a realtor, stager and landlord, I have used contact paper occasionally to freshen up things but would never use contact paper on the floors, decent furniture or anywhere that is close to water, such as a backsplash(there are specialty tiles for that- some are only a couple steps above contact paper, but I have used some and they looked great. It CAN look great on unattractive shelving, dated boxes, inside cabinets and drawers that are clean but stained. I have several rolls on hand.
One dropped knife, scissors or a screw driver, and the contact paper on the floor, will be damaged. I've seen it on flooring and after some wear and tear, it looks awful: scuffed, scratched, holes, etc. When it's peeled up, it leaves a gooey mess. Best not to use it on flooring.
My house has those exact tiles in the kitchen! I wonder when they were put in. They attract dirt in the crevices. Do yourself a favor and only install smooth tiles. I would not put contact paper on the floor.
Never ever do this to your air fryer warrior microwave you may be covering up vent holes.. some neat ideas but I'm not going to take contact paper and cover up all my stuff I'm especially not doing it on my floor!!!
Hi, thanks very much for you job and charing its very good and nice. I would like to ask you a favor the name of the contact paper for the chest and the try and where did you got. Thank you again and the team group.!😊
Personally, I thought a lot of the projects looked good... especially the front part of the stairs covered in contact paper. It also provides renter-friendly options for brightening up apartments. Most landlords don't let you paint, and you have nothing but white walls in your places. Adding some color here and there is really useful.
Anybody that has the patience to do contact paper is beyond me - creative usage!!

Not on the floor.

It’s peel and stick mania!
Great idea but what about it tearing on the floor 😊
I remember when I was young my mom use to wallpaper the walls and the cabinet doors
I can never get the bubbles out. Even in some of the projects shown you can see air bubbles.
Had to turn volume off. Music is annoying.
Agree, paper is not made for flooring. It will peal off!!!!
If you apply a good sealer after applying the paper, it should work, but the video doesn’t show that.

Floor destroyed over a weekend😂
Thanks👍🏼
$ tree fake wood contact paper is never a good choice anywhere but even worse on a floor. The first time she wears heels it'll be full of holes.
That fridge needs scrapping 😂😂
Why have french doors if ya don't wanna see thru them 🙈
Thanks for the great ideas. ❤

They show cutting out sections for the vent holes. I am afraid people might miss that step though
Love the floor n stairs idea
How can you say this is good when you show a whole load of projects covered in wrinkles?
The contact paper works for some Areas, but it would not hold up on a floor
Is it safe to wrap a microwave with contact paper????

❤
So basically contact paper the whole house? Lol
I have seen too much old peeling bubbled contact paper I wouldn’t use it on anything but the tin can thing
Why put this awful music with the video.
Turn down the volume
Quite frankly, covering everything with contact paper is not impressive!

Very old video 😢
Not on microwave
Nice floor until you walk on it.
NOPE!
🙄
Nope.
Won't last a week with people walking on it.
