I love how there are clubs with massive stadiums, and clubs like Luton Town that play in front of a few thousand, all in the same league. I think the Rocket City Trash Pandas have to make any short list on good names. They're a minor league baseball team from Huntsville, Alabama, a major site for the American space program. I was happy when Charlotte was able to switch back to being the Hornets because of the history of the name.
I was always partial to the uc Santa Cruz Banana Slugs. It's one of a kind. Professionally, I'm just gonna say the Redskins not because I ever had any affinity, but because I want to mock the spineless twits who changed the name
