As an urban planner and avid follower of this podcast, I feel compelled to weigh in on this topic. I believe vertical development is inevitable for efficient space utilization. Sakaja may face criticism as governor, but he's right about this one. In Urban planning it is called urban densification, and when executed effectively, serves as a catalyst for growth and development in our cities.
Moving forward, it's imperative that we prioritize the revision of the Nairobi Master Plan, pinpoint new areas for densification, and meticulously plan infrastructure to accommodate the anticipated population expansion. Sounds easy, but it's not.
