I sure would love it if you guys stopped by some time. I’ve been in no man’s land as a farmer for 21 years and I don’t feel so alone anymore. I’d give anything to be able to express myself the way Rick does. It’s so great that your putting yourself out there.
Is weed pressure this bad when you roll the rye instead of letting it stand and harvesting it? Also have you considered buying and using a high clearance Hagie cover crop broadcaster?
Have you guys tried Kura clover in your beans or corn yet? University of Minnesota is using it as a living cover in corn and beans both and having tremendous luck. I know they aren’t organic but it might be worth a look.
We all get creative and tricky once in awhile. Once in awhile we stumble in to something, the other 99% we caulk it up to a lesson learned. I haven’t had any better luck with organic lightening in a bottle than any non organic silver bullets.

We need to stop by one of these days. Would be a good meet up.

Have not tried it. Might have to look into it. Thanks!
Weed pressure is always tough in organic beans

Yep. Sounds about right.
