I've been saying for years Sega needs to make a Samba de Amigo game on Switch, the joycon are literally perfect maracas, with the HD rumble. They actually finally did it, I have to buy it at full price (which I rarely do), they gave me what I asked for lol.
the best part is it still uses the same rhythm map from version 2000 on the Dreamcast. I was able to get an S rank on challenge mode on super hard with the joycons. The only thing that has changed is they had added spiral tracing cards over maracas shake parts.
Kinda surprised Amigo isn't dancing with his sister in this one, considering it's one of those they danced together with in the originals. Still, nice to hear this variation of the track.
She has a name. It’s Amiga! 😂 and yes the difference is very slight but i think Wikipedia is lying to me claiming this version of the song comes from Rhythm Thief which is another game I remembered playing sounding nothing like this.
@@fictionfan0 True, and, prior to seeing the story for this game (at least the version that has it, Party to Go), I didn't have a full grasp of everyones' personalities. At least Party to Go helped change that.

Jesus I would absolutely fail crazy mode over 9999 times. Congratulations to you!
Thanks! 😁

@@OutOfTouch_YT Yeah this definitely sounds different from the RT version.
To be fair, Linda (the butterfly girl) is dressed like a Carnaval dancer, so it's appropriate.
