Leaping Salmon (Sol Duc River, Olympic National Park)

Do you know why Salmon return home to reproduce, and how do they find their way home?!
This October we stopped by the Sol Duc River salmon cascades (as it serves as a key highway for coho salmon!),and witnessed the iconic leap of determined fish up a waterfall on their way to spawn. AMAZING!
